Lovely reaction and rereaction, ladies. It’s an emotional song for sure and even though it wasn’t written for her we know the future and can feel the pain. I too love to see Karen drum while singing and am going to recommend a lesser known song from the Close To You album that is a Karen showcase. The bonus was it was performed live on the American classic late night talk show; The Tonight Show. You get to see a small interview about the song and then they go play it, live in 1973. The song is Mr. Guder (pronounced goo der). Pay special note to the guy playing flute. He was playing the saxophone in Rainy Days. He also plays bass guitar and was with Carpenters for their entire run. Bob Messenger. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4GZdGmJZ5edZpI
