Soooooo much good in this video. Beautiful ceremony ( my favorite part was the respect for the grand mom), the fish looked amazing, wonderful music, and the ending party looked to be a blast 😊🌼🌼🌸🌸🌸🌼🌼🌼🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

Glad you enjoyed it Kelly, and I always enjoy reading your messages of positivity, thank you for taking the time :) Always!! Yes that fish, haha you got it, fish was my favorite as well (but they had this awesome steamed tofu with a simple sauce, it was definitely runner up! dont know if I put that in the video...), but ok - you were also right to point out how important Grandma is to this whole day!!! She and her daughter (mother of the young man), basically this ceremony is for them, almost as much as it is for the young man, so it is great to see the respect given on this day :) : )

A great response Tara I am with you 100%. - honestly I almost pinned your comment, I just think I don’t want to put any (I don’t know what to say, pressure?) When the video is obviously full of religious significance already … But, I am totally with you and this is a huge reason why I came to Thailand even in the first place. I have so much respect for the practice really that is Buddhism, I would tell most people that I find so much similarity between Christianity and Judaism, I don’t think of either as a religion, much more just a lifestyle that can be followed and adapted across so many cultures. I always wondered about my own school, how much of a decision do you think your school put into not teaching much about other religions?

Hello JB, nice seeing how warmth you're with people. Even with the so called PLANdemic, they still interacted with a Farang with no limitation. For sure the Thais are great welcoming people. One thing I admired about your Vlogs is the in depth and explicit explanation. Very fluent, educative, straight and clear. May Mark Wien's portion be just your starting point.

Lovely to see. It was the case that you could avoid military service if you ordained for 10-15 days. I'm not sure if that's still the case.
