I heard you should do plyos when youre at 100% neruomuscularly, so you get the most benefit. In that case wouldn't plyos before the heavy lifitng be optimal, rather than after?

If thats the case then yea, but I’ve never heard that. I just like to get the heavy stuff out the way first

Day 1 of using your weight training plan. Also for the RDL am I meant to feel it in my lower back or is my form wrong?
@trentonsandler5 ай бұрын
Happy to hear it! RDLs should be mostly hamstrings, I’d get that form checked out. A couple quick fixes tho: is your knee slightly bent (athletic stance), are your hips staying parallel to the ground, and are you using too much weight?

If u lift so heavy how do u have time to recover with like ur runs too? Isn’t that a lot? I lifted pretty heavy and I’m like sore for the next few days. So while I’m sore I have to continue running but I just find it hard to recover fast enough from the weight lifting. Do u feel the same?
@trentonsandler5 ай бұрын
I usually lift on my hard workout days, so that the following days are easy runs and pace isn't super important. Usually with lifting though, it only gets you really really sore the first couple times you do a lift, after that your body adapts and you recover quicker--thats what I've found.

Does your coach not send you lifting routines to do 2-3/week? You said you designed your own Also, my high school coach who was a really successful runner herself recommended lifting on the same day as harder workouts, is this wrong to do according to the 24 hour rest thing you mentioned in the video? Thanks for this bro 🙏

@@brennankaplan9338 my coach doesnt send lifting for the summer, just in season. And I meant that you shouldnt have a hard session after lifting. Meaning lift on your hard days, and have easy days after. I gotchu man!
