Nice GBA games:) I looooooove Pokemon a lot:) Big part of my childhood and blue was my 1st GBA game. I remember one time seeing (This happened in Burger King) a guy or a girl (Can't remember) win (I believe it was a Raffle) the Blue version with the guidebook (Which I believe I still own) and the GBA system was pink. I don't remember when this happened but my dad surprised the heck out of me by getting me what I saw at Burger King. I was jealous because I wanted the package LOL. So to this day thank u dad:) Too bad this one and my other Pokemon games got stolen so I had to replace quite a bit. I've been a proud Pokemon fan for 16 years and still continue to be. Can't wait to get the new Ruby and Sapphire games:)

I'm surprised you do not happen to own a copy of Tetris considering it came packed in with the original Gameboy. You should follow this up with your Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance collection.

I am following it up with other Game Boy collections! :) I don't own Tetris because I don't own any games from my youth --these are all rebought as an adult. I've just never gotten around to repurchasing Tetris.

Space Invaders is actually very unique, with it you can play the full color SNES version of Space Invaders on the super Gameboy, justifies the huge marketing campaign and pretty damn cool!

That damn Final Fantasy Adventure... Here in Germany it's called Mystic Quest Adventure and I got it as a present on my 10th birthday or so. A while back I was on a flea market, I saw Final Fantasy Adventure. Of course I instantly bought it and I was so happy about it, because I had never even heard of the game and I was a huge Final Fantasy fan. When I finally got home and started to play it, it was just the American version of Mystic Quest Adventure with a slightly different box art. Man I was disappointed. At least I didn't pay too much for it. The GBA remake is awesome too, btw.

That Ghostbusters game was actually released as a Garfield game in Europe and a Mickey Mouse game in Japan, which is probably why it doesn't fit the license. Awesome collection... That Tour De Thrash box looks familiar ;)

Get TMNT III: Radical Rescue, one of the best GB games ever. Also that Ghostbusters game has 3 different versions depending on region. In Japan it was Mickey Mouse IV, in Europe it was a Garfield game, they really just changed character graphics and changed the game name.

I've got a few of these in my collection too - some great memories had from Super Mario Land 1 + 2, Pokemon Red, Zelda etc. Is there a reason why some of the Nintendo seals are round and others oval? I always wondered that - maybe it's a region thing? Anyway, great to see another collection from you :-)

I've just found out that Nintendo conceived the Charater Samus as a "mortherly hero who deeply loves humanity and doesn't care about money". Since the begining the creators didn't actually know what the term 'Bounty Hunter' meant and till this day in Japan the term is popularly used to mean 'Cowboy Superhero'. When Western studios were charged with making Metroid games they proposed she behave like a bounty hunter and the Japanese creators were up in arms and everybody was confused!

Loved the music in Super mario land and the differences it has, although sml 2 is one of the best games available on the original game boy. I'm surprised you don't have kirby's dreamland 2. Really great game.

I actually have a copy of Heiankyo Alien that I picked up a few months back from a local Goodwill. I had never heard of it and it was cartridge only but I figured for $1.99 it was worth it! Sadly I still haven't got around to playing it yet...

It's in its original box, you're probably referring to the box protector. You can get those on eBay pretty easily. :)

No no, not in Adventure, in the rerelease for Game Boy Advance. The rerelease was called Sword of Mana here, not sure if it had a different name in Europe. :)

Oh you were talking about Sword of Mana, my bad. Sword of Mana was a pretty lame game anyway. Final Fantasy Adventure on the other hand is great :) Sowrd of Mana is called Sowrd of Mana in Europe too. Final Fantasy Adventure is called Mystic Quest in Europe. Just to clarify
