The pumpkins being weapons, but also decorations actually seems like a very interesting bigger mechanic. What if you could have a bunch of decorations that can be used in combat if enemies end up near where you placed them, you could create areas that look cool, but where the decor actually has a secondary function as defense. Like in real life how you can have a castle with swords on the wall that you could use if there was an intruder. Or a gun above the fire place that is actually useful for my American friends.

I LOVE the addition of festivals! If you are looking for ideas, Xmas in Europe we have a bunch of "Christmas markets" where vendors set up little wooden stalls and the whole area glows with soft, twinkly lights. Specifically look up German Christmas markets to see the best of the best (just my opinion). Also, in Sweden we have a very witchy and charming holiday called Midsummer in late June (not to be confused with the horror film). Lots of flower crowns and outdoor festivals. :3 Of course witchy also makes me think of the Winter and Summer Solstices, which might be a better festival title in the flavor of those holidays. It looks great so far, I can't wait to play for myself!

For levitating the building components, I would only make it so levitated object collide with each other if there is more than one and make it so the building components can be easily locked back into their original place.

Amazing spell, and the game is looking great as always! To spice up the combat and add your own twist, you could make enemies with armor or other things that would have to be levitated off it for you to deal damage to the enemy. Imagine a fully armored ogre, and you would then have to throw his shoulderpads, chestplate, and his "anti-magic" amulet away before the real fight could begin.

The levitation spell looks great but probably requires a few limitations like the distance between a user and a target But overall it looks really great and gives you a lot of flexibility, as you mentioned I would probably only recommend making it comfortable to use, for example, by pulling closer or pushing farther the levitated item with your mouse wheel while casting a spell. Maybe even rotating it clockwise by holding the right mouse button or something else

Amazing! I love it when games have seasonal events. Also the new spell looks great! I really like the idea of it and if you can come up with gameplay around moving regular items like that, then it's totally a feature. Just don't let it get too fiddly if you're trying to build up things with it.

You most likely have all the objects as physics objects and thats why you could move the house pieces just make the game check if its a physics object before useing the spell on it if it is not a physics object have some text on the screen telling the player hey you cant move that. i know nothing about coding but i am a glitch hunter in Zelda TOTK so i know a lil bit about how games handle things im no expert though i hope this helps! i think your game is realy cool and i would love to play it when it comes out good luck with whatever you make next!

just I thought but maybe make the builds have different types such as wood, brick, metal(just as a example you can make it more unique to the game) each having there own health, and build speed and as well as some being able to withstand different spells. This could be also good as it encourages players to gather and grind to find the materials required to craft stronger builds to withstand other players/enimes/bosses, if you decide to make it pve or pvp

Yeah... I'll say no to the building levitating. That would invite all kind of griefing. For other festivals, you definitely need something for each seasonal festivals (Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lúnasa, Mabon and Samhain)

The levitating building glitch could be useful for a completely different game. Red Faction was well known for its destructible environments. You could pocket the glitch and use it for a different project using Red Faction as inspiration.

I think you should make it so that you levitate the entire structure and not just separate parts but the more piece the structure has the harder it is to levitate and if there is enough parts you just can’t levitate it at all.

Don't get me wrong but Levitate does exactly what is says, and what you have changed it into is Telekinesis. As a DND nerd, Levitate is a utility spell in combat, it can distract enemies by launching them into the air which gives you time to regen mana for more powerful spells or run away widening the gap between you and your enemy. You can cast it on an enemy and they go up into the air then as another enemy runs up under them, you drop their ally on their head. If you want to make Levitate a more interesting spell, why not allow a player to cast it on them self so they can float over some water. So when the spell is used offensively it does not provide movement controls and holds the target in place but when cast on one's self and allies it allows for floating with movement.

No :/. The target of the levitation is X distance away from the player in the direction of the camera. You may be able to stand on it if you’re falling but it wouldn’t lift you.
