You might have an inflamed ear. I could be wrong but a few weeks ago I couldn’t hear out of my left ear and I went to the doctors and they gave me medicine and it went away.

I have ear tubes in right now and after the surgery it hurts but after 3 days it didn’t really hurt anymore for me and I use ear plugs for the ocean and pools sometimes because it will start hurting again but I hope everything goes well and your ears start feeling better!!

I had tubes put in my ears because I had a lot of fluid in my ears and when I tell you it works wonders omg I’ve been able to hear since then!

i’m having ear problems right now as well. my ears have been bothering me for quite a while. i noticed certain things would send a painful pins and needle feeling in my ears if i yawned or if my eyes watered. so i finally went to the doctors because my ears started draining a pale yellow and white fluid down the side of my face and neck because of how much fluid there was and they said it was because i had a inner ear infection that eventually caused my eardrum to rupture and sometimes they bleed as well when i would have to clean them because of all the fluid. it causes them to get really clogged from the fluid and i can’t hear. it sometimes sounds like white noise and it even rings a little. i’ve always had ear problems since a kid and they even wanted to put tubes in as a kid but never did. so next month (or maybe sooner because i’m starting to not be able to hear that well) i have to see an ENT doctor and hopefully something fixes it. but i hope your surgery goes well !! ❤️❤️
