interesting stuff man, i also enjoy a good test session to see how games work or dont, at the end i had a thought for ya. how long can you drive in 1st gear,,,,, 2nd gear, 3rd, etc. using auto, 4 speed and 5 speed gearboxes. i doubt there would be any dif between 4 and 5 speeds, but auto and manuel maybe. since the game now has mileage of cars, that would be your number system for distance scores. will it effect clutch and pressure plate or even flywheels??? can the rear dif or axle withstand it, and what damages a drive shaft? to sum it up, drivetrain issues? how do they occur and roughly when will it happen. thanks for the fun, you earned my sub. i too love and enjoy the game

Hey RPM thanks and welcome. That sounds like a great test to perform. I'm adding it to the list. Now when you say how long can it drive in these gears. Do you mean while keeping it floored at MAX RPM? And then once the Engine Blows, if it blows, check the Clutch plates, drive shaft , and such?

@@QuadThumbs if it works similar to reality at all, i dont think speed/rpm will matter too much, some for sure but not so much that it should change the duration. i have done countless hours in survival and many times i get stuck with a junk trans and have to manage as best i can. they do well enough climbing hills and getting going, but i cant say if its trans or coolant or oil or other as survival is a mixed bag of bad parts on a well,,,, shitty car. im sure if you pamper it, it should last a bit longer, but that defeats the idea of will it blow. maybe test trying to pull another car with e-brake on, will that cause enough strain to make it happen sooner, like a truck pull across the bridge, lol. also on the driving without tires portion, would it matter if they were 16s instead of 14s???

I just finished a NIV v4 build and there were two things I wondered about. I discovered you can chrome out an entire engine by just dropping it all on the pallet..(expensive!) and you can chrome the radiator too..(wierd). Does chrome make the part last forever? I need to abuse my chrome parts to see if they degrade. The other thing is I have a v4 with turbo..but instead of the feedback pipe from the carburetor I have the performance carburetor, which the model interferes with the turbo..so I wonder if it is working or is doing anything other than looking strange...

Oh interesting. So I don't know if Chrome Wears or not. I only know that it does not add any extra value to the Car! I guess one way to test it, is to Chrome an Already Worn part and see what the Wear Inspector says. lol funny, I'm pretty sure my first Turbo Build I did the same thing. And I remember thinking that it was faster, after i fixed it the right way. So I'm not sure,m but i am putting those into my Tests and Experiments Notes lol

@@QuadThumbs i think they saw that as you passed cars on the road it cast a red light into your car, kind of has that look of a cop car, also i have seen twisted rods make a police car decal set for the wolf, looks legit and he has them scattered around the map.
