I have no idea who you are, and have never even watched another one of your videos, in truth I may likely never watch another. But one GCSE results video on my homepage led to another, and another, and here I am lol. Point is, in pretty much every other one of those videos, the results were less than spectacular, and I was starting to wonder if this KZbin thing was a major detriment to educational success. But low and behold here you are, and you've absolutely smashed it. Congratulations/Mash'Allah. You deserve your success. I am still not quite sure how you've managed to do so well whilst being as popular as you are on YT, but I just want you to know that I wish you the very best in life, and hope your future is a prosperous one. On a personal level though, I do hope your future career is one that changes the world in a different way, or other ways, comparative to what you're doing on KZbin, which is more entertainment centric (with the exception of the revision vids which are more educational). With the educational talent, acumen and potential you have, I can see you achieving a breadth of different things outside of KZbin. if someone been getting 90-100% in past papers and then feel as if they got 70% in an exam, of course they're going to be unsatisfied. But due to grade boundaries, that 70% could have resulted in an A*.

I came out of one of my exams which keep in mind not only did I get 100% that was the highest score in my year of school by 20% (it wasn’t a GCSE it was a mock) but still your mind pulls itself towards the bad at times

The most important thing is don't overwork yourself to the point where you're not eating or sleeping. But definitely revise. I got the results I wanted and didn't revise as much as I could. But I still revised, results don't determine who you are so don't worry. All the best for the future x

That is actually a way of getting marks in science. If you do past papers and mark with the mark scheme, remembering it where you got wrong or were unsure, you could actually breeze through many of the questions.

I don't think you know how exams works 😅 if an exam is going to be harder everyone is going to get lower marks so grade boundaries to get an A will be lower. It doesn't only affect you but everyone in the country who is taking the exam. It is required by the government that the percentage of people getting let say As will always remain the same, so its not the the whole population is going to become dumb lol

Everyone said that GCSE or whatever gets harder every year it's just a poor excuse, because like I said if it gets harder, the system changes. In A-levels, maths was extremely hard this year and everyone came out of the exam crying but guess what everyone got the grades they want or deserve because grade boundaries were low.

+blueblueblue To be fair, she is kind of right: they are going to give out the same number of 8 and 9s as they currently give out A*s, hence dividing the A* in half, so it will be harder to get a 9 than an A* (as you're effectively having to get a high A*), and there is also more content in the new GCSE. (I'm also someone who has just finished A levels, and I tutour GCSE maths - how I know this :) )

She definitely has the potential to! But it annoys me when people think that Oxbridge is the be all and end all. I got 11A*s and an A at GCSE and 5As at AS (not bragging at all) but I'm not applying to Oxbridge simply because it's just not the place for me! It just means that you don't have as many different subjects to focus on so it should be easier for you! I have to take 11 GCSE's so I have to divide my studies between 11- you only have to do 8 so it's easier for you to do well ❤️xx

It depends how the subjects are split as well. If you're doing higher in say science each grade is given as a separate result rather than an overall science one

+polaroidstyles no, you get results for individual subjects so it doesn't matter how many you do, I will be doing 12 gcse starting September and I'm really stressed with taking 12. tbh it's like having 1/3 of your exams taken away and you don't have to do them. It may limit your chances of a wide job range, but as long as you choose wisely you're better off.

Try not to compare yourself to others. Whilst Eve has done amazingly well, so have you!! For some people A* is good for them, whereas for some people a C is an acheivement. Trust me when I say you have done amazing and you will have done much better than some people!❤

They're still amazing!! Employers don't just look at exam results they look at other things as well! You should be proud of yourself! Last year I got 4 A's, 5 B's and 2 C's and I was crying over the C's. But now I'm on a levels... They're really not that important!

+Dog Guy hey 😊 I've just finished year 13 and did maths & further maths a level (and got an A* in both). honestly, I think you'll be fine - an A at GCSE (especially in further!) is really good! I know lots of people in my year who got As at GCSE and ended up with As or Bs at A level - so really good grades - and a couple with A*s too. definitely go for it, maths is such a useful a level 😊

Heya guys, i've just finished year 11 (year 12 in northern ireland) and all I can say is please start revision as soon as possible because unfortunately Bethabo might not realise how stressful Year 11 can get around mid February especially if someone has not started to study. 2 Hours of revision a night (not including homework) is an excellent way of beginning revision and as the exam season nears i.e: End of January, try get around 3-4 hours of revision because teachers start to give less homework once all coursework is finished (doing 1 hour before school might let you ease off slightly in the evening). It doesn't matter if someone is not smart, if you start your revision now and be CONSISTENT, you will not worry when exam season is looming and some of your classmates begin to Panic like crazy- Now that's when they learn that 60 days isn't enough to gain an understanding of 9+subjects. February may seem a long time away, but trust me, Year 11 flies within the blink of an eye, and BOOM! you are sitting in the exam hall. Some people can revise insanely within 3 months prior to the exam, but Eve herself would have revised thoroughly and consistently throughout the year. Please do not take the risk and leave it late. What i'm saying might sound scary, but you have to realise....it's your future! If you revise consistently, it helps you understand topics over and over again, thus when exam time is near, you can just flick through your notes and textbooks reaping all that information in again. And don't leave past papers too late, once you have finished a topic in class, surf the web and find past papers and do questions from those topics you learnt in class that day. Therefore, this enables you to see how the exam portrays the topic and hence, helps you gain an understanding of how to thorouhgly answer the question. Practice and Consistency is ESSENTIAL! As well as your new best friend- The Textbook. In NI, (CCEA) the textbooks are amazing, in that sometimes the answer that the exam question is looking for can be found word for word in our textbook!!-that is the same for a lot of GCSE textbooks. Thus, Make sure you UNDERSTAND your topic and not regurgitate the text, because examiners like to throw in application questions where you are meant to apply your knowledge (esp in Maths and Sciences.) This is when you are meant to be able to answer the question based on the Theoretical processes you have learned from Textbook and research- BBC bitesize, Crash Course Chemistry+Bio -Research helps you to gain a greater understanding. e.g.: Simply putting Application Q: Not all Maths questions are the same but you can clearly identify an Addition question from a Subtraction question- You are using you knowledge on how to Add/Subtract as you have understood how the calculating process works( + or - signs) and now you are applying it into a random situation ( e.g. :worded maths problem that requires addition). BOOM! APPLICATIONOFKNOWLEDGE4DAYZ My apologies for the looonngg essay, but year 11 is serious and MUST NOT BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. Nonetheless, if you need help, feel free to contact me...or the student room- great resource! REMEMBER, you are not the only one going through year 11, there are many people out there to help you. Im glad it's over but trust me, the time flies. Enjoy it because I hear A levels are more challenging ahahahah! But that's a tale for another time! REMEMBER - If you lose time, it's precious time you can never get back, so make the most use of time and begin to study ASAP! Joel :)

GCSEs are the easiest thing you will ever do. I revised either on the day or the night before each exam and got 8 A's & 3 B's. Starting now and doing 2 hours a day should easily get you far better than that.

Congratulations! You really remind me of myself when I was the same age, I got full marks in my exams too. The only thing I will say is as satisfying as those results are I can see how much pressure you have put yourself under.
