I sell all sorts of gems, though I dont really specialize in rough yet. And sadly i havnt gotten the orginization set up for having lists, i have several thousands of stones, and to have each one in its own container and priced will take me a long time im guessing.

Yup, cabachons, I have a ton of those too. Specifically in opal. I have some Mexican fire opal laying around, it doesn't have much play of color thiough. Then I also have some black and white opal cabs that are available

All over. Some come from small businesses over seas. Others I find in estates that I'll occasionally pick up. I do sell them myself though too

I wish I knew what it was called. I had the same question, when I ordered the 5.6ct tanzanite oval I asked about them to my tanzi supplier, and he sent me it as a thank you. I still have no idea. Let me try to find out and perhaps get a few into my supply

Lucky they say... I only work about 12 hours a day 7 days a week for about 3 years straight to build this collection and the tiny business I've built around it. But, with that said, I do hold give aways, so keep your eyes open. I'm recording the video for one here in a few hours actually

They have been able to create tanzanite in labs, but I prefer the real stuff

Really? that must be fairly recent, last i read, they still havnt, they jsut use corrundum, spinel, or glass to simulate it. ill have to do some research, thank you for correcting me

​@@cyn37211oh OK. That's a simulant indeed . It's lab grown corrundum. So, that's the nice thing about tanzanite, it has a very distinct Refractive index and birefringance that can be measured easily. When you slid the stone on a refractrometer and see the 1.70ish with a slight bi refinance, you know it's tanzanite. On occasion they will use lab spinel, but it will often flourece under UV. After I do my video on alexandrite I'll do tanzanite next

Oh, that's just my accent, ignore that. Also, I'm self taught. Imagine someone who learned how to speak English by readying a few books, but not having a speaking model. It's the same here, actually in a very literal sense.
