This guy was fortunate on 1700gh salary but was not smart enough. He just needed to be paid by someone, and that is his problem. You spent about 100,000gh b4 getting there, but you could use such money to invest in a business, starting small, focusing on it to achieve something greater than over there, or you can save 500gh out of that 1700gh for a year to invest in a small business to achieve something great rather than travelling there thinking it is by grace. Besides, that grace can also help you make it big in Ghana.

It's even happening in ghana. Many people work at factories 6 days out of 7 for peanuts. I use to work for 6/7 days for a monthly salary of 2000 cedis, this was just last year. People are struggling in ghana for far less. Some receive a monthly salary of 500cedis, and they work overtime on Saturdays to get bonuses of 200cedis at the end of the month.

Sometimes I ask myself that if God gives grace to people to travel for Greener pastures then I think God is not fair to our motherland . Why is God not giving us the same grace to make it in our country??Please, I stand to be corrected 🙏

Poor vocabulary and lack of skills are common issues. Doing cleaning and labor work isn't something to boast about, and earning minimum wage is not ideal. As a Ghanaian Canadian, I was shocked to learn from my Auntie that unskilled Ghanaians in Canada consider earning $2000 a month a blessing. That's not even enough to cover rent for a one-bedroom apartment. When I visited Ghana, I was surprised to see that most of the youth lack skills and critical thinking, yet they talk a lot. They seem unaware of the current state of the world, especially in terms of economics.
