There are not very many in this world who would truly drop everything, drive two hours, pick up parts and drive an additional 6ish hours, and then drive back the next day. I drove 575 miles which took about 8hrs with mostly 70 to 80 mph speed limits 700 miles would take about 9 to 10hrs 6ish hours is wishful if obeying the speed limit and little to no traffic.

Got to give you and Jen credit. She is definately a keeper--not many women would do that-they would be clueless. My wife would have also-back years ago when I owned a towing business-more than once she bailed me/us out during thhe night when I was so tired I couldn't drive back. Think Large wrecker-10 or 13 speed. "Just show me the gears" she said...Still w/ her at 50 years... After retiring twice I/we still go and pick up parts for my Son;s H/E repair business. Just keeps me busy.. Love your video's and your calm demeanor... Tks!

if you do cut into the stack from the green apu run a flapper inside the main pipe so it lays flat and seals when the main exhaust is in use, and the pressure pushes it up when the apu is running, since the apu never runs when the main motor runs

Burn a hole about 6 inches back from the tip of the fork so you can drop a trailer hitch ball into it and that way the chain won't slide off, also can use that to move around small trailers.

I was able to meet a guy the other day driving an old peterbilt cabover and I had to take a picture. I kinda wish we kept our old k100 but it needed work we couldn't afford to do so we had to let it go to someone who could fix it up and run it, would've been sweet running it today if we still had it.

love your videos Steve. I am can old trucker in Australia, mainly road trains from Brisbane to Darwin. A distances 2000 miles each way. Total weight when pulling 3 trailers up to 264,000lbs. total length 175' 6''. I enjoyed the work, but it takes a toll on your body. These days with more modern trucks that are more driver friendly I expect it would be easier. Keep the wheels on the road and I will be watching more of your videos
