I got hit like the first one in high school sophomore year. I remember looking up at the sky for the ball. I caught the ball. The next thing I remember is looking up at the sky. The trainer had a bloody towel and my family and the ambulance was next to me. I got 60 stitches in my chin, got brain matter on my skull and a serious concussion. I haven’t been right since. Football is a contact sport.
