This guy is so inspirational. I also had a nightmare situation in Japan. I was so ill in that toxic management situation that I just worked and slept. Eventually my work spoke for itself. As an African-American female, I was put incharge of an important university event over the toxic Australian male who had been there for 15 years. Everyday I wanted to leave but my students and even the professors loved my lessons. Great interview.

This was a fantastic interview. Dan gave such great insight into the ups and downs of living and working in Korea and from a Korean American perspective, which I can relate to as a Thai American coming back to Thailand after having been raised and grown up in the USA for almost 30 years. He is also an inspiration for me to leave international school teaching after 16 years in 8 countries. Much like him I would like to go into digital nomad work and starting an online business including a side career in music. And on top of all that, he is definitely husband material - forget about a green flag, he is an entire green forest especially for such a young man!!! What a hottie...
