When I do this with extensions I follow the same steps, the sections are just longer. You could use a stronger hold hairspray if you have thicker, "heavy" hair to help hold the curl :)

Thank you! I found them very easy to apply with tweezers. They are super dramatic and the band is thicker so you can definitely feel that you're wearing them at first. But if you're used to wearing falsies it's no biggie :) You may also want to check out the Khroma "Glimmer" Lashes at CVS!

I think you hold the curl with your hand so that it cools before you let it go and the weight of it may pull the curl down.

I do the curl shake as well haha :) I think it has something to do with creating some sort of make believe wind current to cool them faster. It makes sense in my head lol

Try washing your hair with a volumizing shampoo/conditoner and then add mousse while your hair is still damp. Then blow dry with a round brush. This should add enough volume to help your hair keep the volume/curl that you want.

Holding it (and shaking it I guess lol) allows it to cool locking the curl in place you can also pin it to your head loosely after curling until you are done and it will do the same thing.

You can remove the clamp on the curling iron so you dont get some of those kinks. Just something I do that helps a little :) I love this look. My hair is actually long enough to curl with this same inch and im going to do it like this next time. :) Love it.
