The type of calcium in Tums is Calcium carbonate. It isn't absorbed quickly or as easily as calcium citrate which you would find in Citrical which works almost immediately. You're better off using calcium citrate during labor since it starts working immediately and they can digest it better.

I totally understand that you didn’t shoot the birth process I figure that would be super stressful. Also, can you do a make up tutorial

Typically Golden retrievers are black or brindle but they're golden because there is a gene 'ee' that masks black(and merle). So since the dad was Black and White he would have been B(b), which is dominant black, and he would've been Ee - hence how you got one cream colored puppy, since Indy is ee. So all of them are black based(black nose/eye leather) and the father carried ee cream. Kind of surprising you go so many black and brindles, but it's all random. Hope this makes sense, I love dog genetics haha

I’m curious when you bred Indy with Hank do the people who own him get a portion of the money for the puppies or just y’all? (I have no clue how dog breeding works lol) And would you ever breed Jagger?
@baileywilliams_3 жыл бұрын
So we paid them a stud fee! That was a flat fee for the breeding therefore they do not own any rights to the puppies! Also we neutered Jagger early on because we knew we wanted to breed Indy and they are half siblings!
@karisbumgardner522 жыл бұрын
Hey, how much was the fee? I would really like to know

I know it’s 10 months later. But why didn’t you keep a brindle girl? They are so cute and could make some beautiful puppies

I have no idea what Bailey did but I just got a golden doodle this year and the process was intense! We had many video interviews with the breeder, had to fill out extensive applications, and take a puppy course! Congrats on your labradoodle, getting a pup is literally the happiest moment for me!

Hi! I just started my breeding program and I’m seeing some conflicted information about how often you can breed your female?
@alexisd81903 жыл бұрын
no more than one litter a year.

@@WeenieMommi I know and I don’t agree with that. Most people advise to wait at least one season between mating again so that works out at one a year. And it’s advised to stop at 4 litters per bitch. It’s just to ensure the health of the dog and to stop them from tiring and having complications
