Keep both for a winter soup dinner party. Two kinds of soup, (entree and main) plus rustic homemade bread and salads. Let your guests vote on the preferred pot (and favourite soup?). My guess is you’ll subconsciously put your favourite soup in the pot you don’t realise yet that you prefer. ;)

Keep the jeans and the soup pots. When you get settled in your new house you may want to have a buffet with a couple of soups. Things like that are a pain when moving, but you will be so glad later!

I am always amazed as to how many mid century/60's, 70's pieces you are able to consistently thrift! I think I need to move to Washington! I loved the newer soup tureen! Keep it! The Israeli candlesticks are decorated with pomegranates, which have symbolic meaning in the Jewish religion. They supposedly contain 613 seeds, which correspond to the 613 commandments of the Torah (the Old Testament). In addition, it is one of Israel’s “Seven Species" that are listed in the Torah and are a symbol of fertility and love. They often appear in Jewish art (such as Jewish marriage documents, called ketubahs) and are eaten on certain holidays. A very important symbol, indeed.

I like most of what Crazy Lamp Lady buys but keep in mind that she is making so much money from her channel that she is in a unique place and can drop 4k at her local auction house buying high end items.

I would keep both soup tureens for now and alternate using them. The handmade plaid jacket looks to be double knit fabric which was very popular in the 70s-80s.

It was bonded fabric. Popular in the 70s. The tricot was bonded on the backside to stabilize the looser/ lighter weave of the fabric.

Rebecca here - The plate is beautiful! I think the candle holders might be pomegranates - I have been into them recently and those look like a typical representation. Definitely keep the pants- the embroidered patch flowers are really pretty! I like your current soup container - the white one with the rectangle pattern, better.
