Star Sloth a pillow for less than a dollar is a great deal, since Halloween pillows normally go for like $10 and up, even at 99 cents only store. I also like looking in OfferUp for less expensive things.

mydejavooo1 Yes, okay so I use not so strong wattages on the ceiling lamp, and put red lamp shades over the bulbs. Whatever the shades don't cover creates an amber glow on he floor area. And to enhance the red look, I use a red bob on the floor lamp with no shades. This works best in smaller rooms vs in a big living room in a bigger apartment, and since mine a small studio, it works perfectly. Hope that helps :-)

Your apartment looks pretty cool :) Looks like you've got lots of nice candle-sticks and candelabras, and a nice couch/chaise. The lighting's a bit dark to really appreciate the details on things like some of the more ornate candle-sticks and the furniture though. Your huge E.A. Poe painting is awesome :3

This was the beginning, and as I you know it's always a work in progress until you get it right, and then after a while you just try to change things around every now and then. So, I do plan to put an update of what I've done so far, and will make it a point to have better lighting as others have requested as well! Aaah, thanks so much Manequinxxx!!! Thanks very much, I really appreciate it! I was going to paint my walls, but I'm glad I left them white because that allowed me to furnish my apartment with dark furniture that stands out!! About the yellow-red gradient lighting, at that time, I had a red light bulb in the floor lamp, with some flickering amber light bulbs, plus the amber/yellowish candles on the floor candelabrum, together with the chandelier that has bulbs that give off a slightly amber/yellow-like glow that have four red shades on them, and that's how I achieve that lighting color. Thanks so much Natalie Woods!! I look everywhere, e-bay, yard sales, thrift stores, and regular online stores that have sales once in a while like Design Toscano. Etsy is also good and can strike a good deals sometimes; it's a little bit like ebay, except you are not bidding, but buying. Keep looking, I know it takes time, but it's kind of fun also!! Churches sometimes sell their candle holders on Sundays after mass. E-bay is really good, but you have to be really patient and try to get the good deals and try not to pay so much, because someone else is always going to sell for less, always compare prices and do reasearch; type in Gothic sconce, Gothic candle holders/candelabra when searching e-bay. It takes time to put it together. This was a test and I will be putting another video of my entire place including kitchen and bathroom. Thanks for watching and for liking :-)

I absolutely love this room! I love the goth style and would love to have a house with this look. Though my outward appearance may not look it (much to my dismay....its very hard finding affordable quality goth clothes in "plus" sizes) I am in love with the style. My bedroom furniture is black but it just doesn't get the look I desire :(

Although "Gothic" was a era, please don't look up to the first youtuber you mentioned. Her place is not gothic, it is just a bunch of cheap crap plastered all over. Tacky dollar store and cheesy halloween shit. Gothic is beautiful, expensive and sophisticated. You have a nice place. Keep doing what you are doing using your own style, not following tacky wannabees. Great job!
