You remind me of my grandmother too. She used to bake this cake which was not too sweet and had a beautiful homemade texture. She's gone now. Can't find the recipe yet the cake keeps replaying in my eyes, nostrils and mouth. Was too young to think of getting the recipe.

1egg, small lot of sugar and milk instead of water in the dough does NOT constitute cake. BRIOCHE is a bread that has heaps of sugar, butter and eggs. It certainlh isng cake.
