@@user-pwfus you’re so right my friend. I hear this on every episode of Christ must list where these guys throw blame on the government, when the truth is that these guys don’t want to work for small money, they want to get rich quick and live the bling bling high life, and that is what the narco trade will do to your people and your society. I spend my formative years in trinidad where I saw it first hand. there was always an element of slackers in the capital and surrounding areas where fellas want to sit down on the block and hustle 10 days and idle whole day, beg for cigarette hustle a smoke here and there and never put there shoulders to the wheel, then then cry on the government for their failure. Most of these guys who’s gang banging can’t even go out of their community to work or hustle anyway, because they run the risk of being killed by rivals, so they’re isolated and wants the government to come to their aid when the govt have so many programs for young people to excel, and yes the govt could do more for these communities like creating infrastructural programs in these depressed communities to fix up and maintain them, but it’s not as dire as everyone made it seem.

Chris, you are amazing job exposing and informing us what exactly is going on in Trinidad, i am a trinidadian living in Canada. As you can see same as any other country these are single parents children that had no guidance growing up and is influence by the Rap bullshit music and gangster fake life of the united states. If you studied the history of the gangs, back in the 1980's Abu Baka worked with the police controlling the streets, he controlled the streets with little or no crimes, once the over trowing of the government and he refused to run and control the streets a bunch of little gangs sprang up all across the country because there is no controll on the streets, back in the days those little gangs would be checked or wipped out because Abu with the muslin and the rasta city gangs existed with respect between both gangs. The only solution is to place a real leader of a huge gang to keep the peace and respect between the gangs and eliminate all the small gangs. The rich dudes are still consolidating their money to import huge quantity of cocaine into trinidad and with the drugs they bring in the guns for protecting, once the cocaine is gone the gun are left witht the gangs and they shoot each other.Unless the police really are all on board and improve their way of policing as such the north American police and intelligent their need a leader on the streets to controll the gangs. Chris while you are in Trinidad, visit the jail, in their you will will find the old OG's which will tell you the same i am telling you with more detail and they will know how exactly their were peace among the gangs in the 1980's. Trinidadians need to take responsibility for their choices and stop blaming the government for everything. It is us who voted the politicians into power, so we need to hold ourselves accountable for the state of our country. Instead of just complaining, we need to take action, organize demonstrations, and demand change. The constant divide between PNM (Africans) and UNC (Indians) limits our choices and prevents true diversity in our political landscape. We need to break free from this cycle of limited options and seek out new alternatives that truly represent the diversity of our nation. It's time to stop pointing fingers and start taking charge of our future.

@@reeneljoseph Trini's pride themselves at organizing fetes and parties, showcasing their expertise in event planning. However, the same level of proficiency does not extend to collaborating and mobilizing for transformative political change. Over the last few decades, the politicians we consistently elect have engaged in rampant corruption, systematically draining our resources. As they continue to line their pockets with stolen gains, the people suffer, witnessing a decline in both public welfare and infrastructure. Our nation is being sold off to foreign powers, with China making strategic acquisitions while our leaders live lavish lifestyles, flaunting their wealth in luxurious vehicles and residences. Rowley wears a watch that cost 250.000 US Dollars. They laugh at us as they cut through traffic in their convoys, arrogantly dismissing our concerns. Despite our grievances, we remain inert, failing to take decisive action against this betrayal.

Except it really isn't "US" that votes the government into power. Every single election period, if you look at the actual numbers instead of just at seats won, you'd see that almost always, the ruling party has fewer votes than the opposition party. It's just that because of the way the seats are split, it heavily favors one party to gain more seats, despite having fewer actual votes.

Allya should have mentioned Trinidad and Tobago being plagued by the drug trade 30/40 years until now. - at [25:44] And the government role is in itself. The government has the power to reduce the flow of drugs and guns through trinidad by 40% if they want, right now. They literally did it through the borders a several years ago. The price of a commonly used drug like marijuana sky rocked about 200% And the Naval Unit alone was put out at sea to secure the waters. You telling me bout governance and love? Never. The government has the power to curtail, stop, re-design and redefine the crime situation in Trinidad and Tobago. ECSPECIALLY when we see the billions the government has spent frivilously, documented. And thats just in my 20 something years as a Trinbagonian.

But they don’t have no gang, yes you don’t have gangs you just have cartels who flood the nation with drugs, weapons and prostitutes. I have news for you, callyuh ent better than nobody mister, your people is just as guilty for the present condition of this nation. The first gun toating gang in trinidad was dole chadee gang, who wiped out Ah whole family, what de phork you talking bout fella, you even know what yuh saying?? Naim naya and teddy mice khan run San Juan. Teddy mice had soo much money he didn’t even know what to do with it. He lead a gang of bad men like polo and bacchanal Williams. the men who kill bacchanal Williams and Jerry roberts, two of mice henchmen were the ramlochan brothers, who hired gunmen to kill “loaf” who was a witness to the murder and was in witness protection at the time of his death, this was in the mid 1980s, you probably was still in diapers. Back then Nyah and mice was the bosses of San Juan and no dogs bark. Back then only Indians had guns, and they were using it. It could only think of a few African bad men who’s name was worth mentioning, man like junks, minty, Jerry roberts polo and the king brothers who was murdered by the ramlochan boys. you making joke fella!! somebody fooling you terribly.
