Awesome! More of this Belgian racing please! Looking forward to the next installment :-) Oh and how about trying some Belgian 'stoverij' for dinner next time?

Dennis Stempher what is that!? Happy to give it a try next time 👀
@dennisstempher96847 жыл бұрын
It's a traditional Belgian (or Flemish actually) dish of slow cooked beef in a broth of (amongst others) beer, mostly served with fries... Might sound simple and it's not a spectacular dish to look at, but if you eat it at a place that nails the recipe, it's heaven to eat :-)

Great video! Where were you staying in Roubaix? Looking for somewhere to stay for gent wevelgem next year
@bbikerlawrence7 жыл бұрын
That's a very good question, a campanille very near the centre - Sarah is the one to ask for that!
@sarahhooper98777 жыл бұрын
Hey, We tend to stay in the Roubaix-Lille Campanile on our Belgium trips as it tends to be cheaper. However, if there are are more of you you might want to look at a gite nearer Ghent.

Really good video as usual. I raced at a new track in Hull on Monday night, I'm only Cat 4, but it sparked a debate on Facebook about the cost of racing in the U.K. The club that organised the event have said that if they had to hire the track, it was free for the first event, they would have made a loss on the event. Any thoughts as I have found these events an ideal way to get into racing.

Thanks for watching Jason. The racing in this country is crazy, some crits costing up to £25 and road races more. The track in hull sounds great, do it more!

Will do Lawerence. First season racing and planning to push to get to Cat 3 next season. Using this season as learning curve and what I need to improve as far as training goes. Looking forward to part 2

Awesome vid Lawrence. You got the exposure and colors going great now. How did you set your camera this time? Any different?
@bbikerlawrence7 жыл бұрын
Thanks James, better right?! Nothing changed on the camera just learning to grade slowly. Although with that many clips it really does take a couple of hours- for now anyway until I get better. Worth it though!

Great content too! I'd get smoked in that kind of racing. Reminds me a bit of Crit racing here in the States. You've definitely nailed your exposure and color for sure. What Gamma are you using (Cine, slog,etc)? I'm sure as time goes on and you learn Resolve you'll figure out how to streamline your process. I find the biggest time killer with Resolve is actually editing the clips because the playback performance (at least on the Macs I use) is so horrible. Enabling smart render cache does help though.
