Your work is so beautiful. It absolutely resonates with me. I’ve never even heard of most of the processes you mentioned there, so i guess i’m going to be off on an internet rabbit hole this morning 😅

I only discovered your channel today. New subscriber. I have severe chronic back pain that limits my stabding/sitting time to about 15 minutes at a time. I enjoy gel printing botanicals from my garden

Glad to have you on board. I love printing leaves and botanicals too- we're heading into the right time of year for it!

How do you get the colour on the front of your prints/paintings by 'drawing on the back of the painting' ?? and it comes through on the front ? Thanks, Polly

Hi Polly, a mixture of things really. I roll ink out onto a flat surface and then place the paper on and press on the back to apply even pressure, moving the ink onto the paper. The other option is to roll a thin layer of ink out onto the surface, lay the paper on and push a pattern onto the back of the paper. The ink should only go where you've pressed. There are lots of videos I've made that show these techniques, so do have a look at the back catalogue.
