I really like how you appreciate the craftsmanship and the skill needed to make these bags. I think many don't think about it. That brands like Chanel are not just a status symbol but art as well. That the reason why bags from Chanel and other really high fashion houses are soooo expensive (and the value of them will actually rise than fall over the years) is because they are each hand sewn by artisans (only a handful are left) and are made of such high quality material. I really encourage you to go to the Chanel channel so you can see the pure genius of these men and women's work.

Because of your video, I bought the Givenchy antigona in black smooth leather and LV berkerly in one month! Cant get rid of these babies out of my head! I bought the antigona one new, in small size cus I do not like heavy bags, in love with it so much! LV berkerly, because it is discontinued, I bought it second-handed for about U$ 1400. I do love both but love Givenchy more! The cons of Berkerly, for me, it does not have shoulder strap, and not prefer the touch of its leather. What do you think? which one you love the most?

tinypufferfish I just used a damp magic eraser and then wipe it right after with baby wipes to protect it. If it's Chanel I'm afraid though. I would test out a small spot! good luck!

Gorgeous collection! I myself just added the Speedy 25 bandouliere in the empreinte leather to my collection and am loving it but I have also had my eye on the vintage Chanel for a while and would like it to be my next piece. I am highly wary about pre-loved items and pricing; I see that you purchased it at $3200- in what specific condition was your bag? Were there hairline scratches on the leather/hardware? Creasing? Other minute flaws which revealed prior use?

blackdragon482 it was almost new. Nothing was wrong with it and no scratches what so ever. Not even on the metal plate. I wish I could say that now after using it but a little wear that you personally put on the bag is fine :D No creasing and flawless!

I love Kate spade and Michael Kors but those brands aren't as high end as Chanel or Louis V so that's probably why she didn't include those bags in this review (or maybe she chooses to buy more expensive bags instead) to help those who want to splurge and to potentially buy those bags too :)

But designer bags are pretty much all the same. They're all designers right? But they are all expensive and good quality bags. Summer Alam I guess it's like comparing a Samsung with an iPhone. They're both phones and they both work pretty much the same but because of the brand of "Apple" people are willing to pay extra in order to get one. For some people, phones are just phones but for those who really care about status or looking a "rich" they choose to pay like $2000 on one bag. For me if the bag it's cute that's all that matters (Imo Louis V's design looks tacky)

Loved your video! It was super informative! :) i've been thinking about getting the LV Favorite MM too but I was curious about the aging of the leather. Did you experience any issues with it with having an even patina? Or any water spots? I heard about people "treating" their leather but was wondering if you knew anything about that? The magic eraser didn't work when I tried to remove the denim stain on my LV Damier Azur Neverfull. I did remove it with a leather cleaner and it just made the denim stain lighter.

hi, love your collection. i have recently started to take a liking to designer purses for their craftsmanship and quality. for my LV speedy b i use loving my bags to clean, condition and protect. never tried baby wipes before. maybe sometime soon as this is for sure cheaper alternative. by the way, i'm looking at vintage chanel, circa 2009 or older as i've heard that their gold is plated and the current ones are not. however, you mentioned that older ones are pure gold? is that correct? would love to know more before i take the plunge. thanks for sharing :)

What a beautiful collection!!! I just wanted to say I would be afraid to use a baby wipe on the lighter leather on my Louis'--I'm sure someone mentioned this, and I know yours was Damier when you said it--I just couldn't help myself. I know someone might use it, change the leather and be upset.

Loved your video you have some gorgeous pieces! How did you purchase you bag with cash or a card or did you get it over the phone I'd love to know it would help out a lot. I'm not sure how to find one also I've looked on eBay any tips on what to look for tonauthenticate ? :)

victizzle2k9 Purseforum does authenticating and you kind of have to do your own research on the bag such as the serial number and the style. I paid with cards and cash so it depends :D
