Saying, "I'm going back!" after what he's gone through makes the levels feel like a game you have to replay to understand its meaning or a way to say you're going back to play the side quests you missed/didn't get to play because you didn't have the context of the ending to know that that specific thing you saw while playing through the game was a side quest in the first place, and then you beat the game and it was too late to go back. And sometimes it's just an easter egg that you overthought. As a side note, I have to say this one Tetris 99 intermission was intense, even for someone like me who has next to no interest in Tetris. I was on the edge of my seat.
