Great review. I have the Spot 300 (older model). Because the rechargeable batteries are sometimes slighlty bigger than Alkaline, I find my batteries get stuck inside the compartent. Do you experience this with your Spot 350?
@nuoutdoor Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I use eneloop rechargable batteries, and alkaline are my spare ones. I think the battery compartment is not well designed, it is hard to take out any battery (alkaline and rechargable), specially on a hike, when my hands are frozen. Still I do not see it is a big thing, my other lights has the same issue. Normally I "shake"the batteries out.

Is it possible to recharge the batteries inside the lamp or do you need to take them out?
@nuoutdoor Жыл бұрын
it is not designed as rechargable battery operation. Unfortunetelly you have to buy such batteries separatelly, and can be charged externally only! (no usb connector)

i really don't understand, i have a spot model 2011 that has approximately 90 lumens (maximum), 3 aaa batteries and 50h operation, this new model with 350 lumens has 8h operation with 175 lumens. i.e., even adjusting for 90 lumens i should have a lower operation than the 2011 model?

the LED technology is developing so fast, but still it can be cherry picked what you want, effectiveness vs. light quality(frequency of the "blinking" and on and off times, output regulators). I think it was a design decision

When it’s off you can use it on reserve for 45 hours???? WHAT???? Did you ever figure out what that meant?
@nuoutdoor2 жыл бұрын
the manufacturer has to give burning time of the lamp according a standard that says it is off when it has less than 10% of the maximum output. When the lamp is at 10% it still produces useable light 0,25lux at 4 meters. It is very small output , but can be handy.

@@nuoutdoor ohhhh I see…. Thanks for the reply!! Would have never understood that it meant THAT

it is kind of marketing definition.

with 350 lumens you can see alot of detail in that wood???
@nuoutdoor8 ай бұрын
Hello, well it depends on...I rarely use it at max, only when I am lost :-). I concider it as "bright" . but when your eyes are addapting that light, you can not see anything whete the beam is not pointed. There are much brighter light are available, but at least for me , hiking, and easy bike ride it is good. I think it is not enough for serious mountainbike. What sport do you need it for?

I am not expert on fishing, but I think it is enough. but you may need an other light which is having more spred light.This one has focused light in high beam, and spread light as ambient.@@mollies13

At 8:55 either planes burn wood and work with sream as old trains did, or they spray sometihng allover the world, where ever people are living, like cities towns and villages. Probably there is a low population, like on villages or Towns, becasue that's where they spray only with one airplabe. In big cities, you can notice like 10 airplanes spraying in the same time.
