I am a big fan of a different version of this theory. One where All Might was quirkless but after receiving One for All, which had 7 other quirks and quirk factors i.e. the vestiges, he got the only quirk which had no quirk factor. The power Stockpiling quirk. Then when it came to Deku he passed on One for All and now his power Stockpiling quirk.

@@naruto7282 there is a video by Yunami on youtube called Eri gives All Might his quirk back. It explains how All Might really used the Power Stockpiling part of One for All. One for All is primarily a quirk that transfers other quirks. That's exactly what it did. It transferred the power Stockpiling quirk from the 1st user to the 2nd user, who added his own quirk to One for All. This went on and on until one for all came to All Might. Now All Might was quirkless, that means he had no quirk factor. So he was able to use the only quirk in one for all which had no previous quirk factor, the power Stockpiling quirk. In the manga gran Torino said that All Might was the first user to make one for all his own. That's because he was quirkless. The other users before him all had quirk factors. All Might's body developed a new quirk factor so that it can use the power Stockpiling aspect of One for All. How am I sure I am true? Well when Deku went inside the core of One for All he learned that the quirk factors of all the previous users have merged with the core of one for all. That's why the vestiges exist. Yeah that's right. The vestiges of one for all users are inside the quirk because a part of their soul was copied along with their quirk factors. When Deku told All Might during the tournament arc that the saw silhouettes in the form of the previous users, they were 8. Meaning all might was a part of the vestiges, meaning all might had a quirk factor, meaning all might had a quirk. The power Stockpiling quirk. All Might will never get back one for all. That's Deku's now. But he can still use the power Stockpiling quirk. Proof? All Might can still access his muscle form. And for people asking does that mean Deku gets a quirk factor too? Well, no he's quirkless. And there's no spare quirk inside one for all that has no innate quirk factor. That's why when Deku uses one for all his body gets wrecked beyond a certain limit.

I dont think that is it, in one of All Might's backstories, we can actually see him grow throughout the backstories. And we can see him being half the size of his buff form when Gran Torino and All Might had to flee AFO leaving the 7th user to die. AND he was much thinner when he met Nana Shimura, which is before he got into UA.

Well all might wasnt really the actual chosen one because he wasnt able use the other quirks maybe the other OFA users couldnt use the past OFA users quirks because they had a quirk of their own and they thought that they needed a quirk to be able to beat AFO but all might chose a quirkless kid which was the greatest descision of his life because having a quirkless user OFA can now let the user use the quirk of all past OFA users making him the perfect hero to defeat AFO because he wont be the only one without multiple quirks.... Matpat's wrong about one thing: Passing down OFA to a person with a quirk is not the best option. Choosing a quirkless person like Deku is the most reliable option, as the predecessors has explained: Every person has a cup, and that cup is filled with a liquid to represent quirk. If said cup is filled, they can't fill it up with all the quirks of the predecessors because it will overflow the cup. Therefore a quirkless person--who has an empty cup--is more reliable because the quirks won't overflow. This is why All Might didn't get the former seven quirks, otherwise--if Matpat's theory is correct--All Might's cup will be overflowing.
