I'm learning Japanese and I've just discovered that Midoriiro means "green". Knowledge is power.

Or just midori. Iro is colour, so midoriiro is green colour. Gotta be said that the Japanese just tend to use aoi to refer to green, which is a word that also means blue. To them, green is just a shade of blue, which is why for example the stoplights in Japan go red-yellow-blue.
