It is kinda funny how your understanding of Toga and Twice are reversed: she wasn’t able to copy the Quirks of those she transforms until now (and even that limited to those she strongly loves), and he always made copies of his comrades but refused to make of himself until now.

So many things were cut and weren't explained properly : Re Destro is descendant of Destro Re Destro tells us a story of a mom. That was Destro's mom. During the times when Quirks/Meta abilities just started appearing the population got divided into normal humans (quirkless) and people with quirks. The normal people started killing the meta ability users cuz they thought of them as monsters. Destro was also born with a quirk so people were trying to kill him... but his mom was pleading to the people and government that it's her son's power.. his 'Quirk' (Like how we define a person having some quirky behavior which is a normal part of them) and don't kill him. She wanted meta users and non meta users to live in harmony. But the people ended up killing the mom After this a huge uprising occurred and the Government accepted the mom's wish. Then changed the name from Meta ability into Quirk to symbolize it being a part of the user like his personality or trait and which made Quirk users more human. Destro's mom hence was called "Mother of Quirks".

15:28 Unfortunately, there lies the problem.... the anime staff shuffled around the manga's order of events, a move that was bound to confuse those who stuck exclusively with the anime. I think time constraints were the reason for this decision (the third movie came out around the same time season 5 ran), so again, it's an unfortunate situation.... but it is what it is, I guess.

Yeah, the story was not supposed to be told in this way, not only that, but there is also some information that was simply cut from the anime. Even anime only people can feel something was off. Season 5 was not as great as it could have been.

Twice has only ever made clones of other people in the series. Until now he refused to make clones of himself because of the incident where he almost killed himself because his clones all thought they were the original. So far we've seen a "power up" of Twice, Toga (using the person's quirk she drinks the blood of), and now Shigaraki's decay apparently spreads to things he didn't directly touch with all 5 fingers. So his decay can spread to other people/things if they are touching what he is touching.

Greek mythology trivia: Gigantomachia is the name of the battle between the Olympian gods and the Giants(Gigantes). Not to be confused with the Titanomachia, which was the war against the Titans. So basically his name means "Giant Battle" or "Battle of the Giants", which kind of gives the vibes of someone being named Ragnarok or Armageddon

Twice was always really powerful, he was shackled by his trauma. Now he's been freed of his shackles and he fights to protect his friends. I always love when villains care about each other. And Shigaraki threatening the Liberation Army for messing with Twice's emotions is oddly wholesome. They've all grown close together over time. Well, aside from maybe Dabi. But Dabi's like the edgy older brother of the group so that's fine.

Shigaraki still needs to touch something for it to Decay. However the Decay now spreads to other things in contact.

The real twice can't make new things until one.of them is destroyed he did it in season 3 Aizawa a clone of Dabi. *There is a few drowbacks to Sad man's parade that power* : 1. The og twice can't make new clones until one of his two clone is destroyed. That makes the real twice vulnerable and quirkless until that, and those clones makes clones to, it can take times. 2. Unlike Naruto, Twice's doubles and their double can't know what the other ones and the og is currently doing unless they stay near him. That's why the clones of compress and Dabi made at the tour didn't know that Twice got over his trauma, while the real the ones, got this information from some of twice clones. That's why also why the clone will always think he is the real one. 3. If a clone of Twice dies away from twice, Twice won't notice until he start to use his power and what the clone was doing prior his death wouldn't be known either. 4. Since every Twices has the same abilities and a mind of their one, none of them can really know which one of them is the original until they die. The info must be given at the moment of their creation.

The only real drawbacks is the durability of the clones. If you give twice more than a few seconds he’ll be able to make enough clones around him that will exponentially grow to the point it would probably be impossible to get to the real twice. He probably has the most dangerous quirk in the league and the heroes acknowledge this later.

17:00 Remember the quirk singularity theory? This is apart of that. The difference here is the students aren't being put under extreme life or death situations where enhancing their quirk is the only way out of it. It's similar to humans being able to use a higher percentage of their brain/strength when in those situations. Also Shigaraki can use decay on things that he touches and the things the things he's touching touches. So basically the decay spreads

Not really related to that theory at all actually. That theory is that with each generation, quirks become more powerful and eventually too powerful resulting in a doomsday. Moving past your trauma in a fight has no relation to that theory in any way at all

Twice's power is scary. The copies disappear from taking some amount of damage, but still. Up until now he was limited to 2 due to his trauma preventing him from copying himself, but now imagine an army with thousands of Dabi and Shigaraki for example.

Twice could always make copies of others with enough information and their measurements and had done it multiple times in the show. He never would clone himself after the situation where his clones all started killing each other. When they broke his arms and he didn’t disappear he realized he was the real one and he started making tons of clones of himself.

Also in the Heroes Rising movie, at the beginning when Endeavor launches an attack at the van the League is using to escape and turns out all the people in the van are clones and end up being dissolved.

Even more recent, in the very beginning of this arc when the League are trying to subdue Machia and he launches an attack Shigaraki and Compress are disolved, those being copies made by Twice.

Twice wouldn't copy himself because last time I did they eventually tried to kill him and left him with a bunch of mental trauma. But once he realized he was the real one he had no problem in making clones of himself. And the thing is: clones made by Double have the memories and quirks of the original, wich means if Twice clones himself his clones can make clones of himself and so on, wich means he can literally make infinite clones of himself.

Sorry, but you have completely misunderstood Toga's past. The others did NOT think she was weird. You even LISTENED to what her classmates said about Toga in the episode: she was always a nice person. It's quite simple (and I know like all my comments, this will be ignored anyway), Toga needs blood to activate her Quirk. In every child with 4 the Quirk comes out. So the desire for blood also came to Toga. Little children touch and examine everything they like. For Toga, drinking blood was a natural blend of her Quirk and showing affection! Her parents told her she was abnormal and as a result she deliberately bent and put on a mask. Namely that of the "nice" girl. Until that didn't work anymore and she attacked a classmate and drank his blood. After the verdict I'm already not very curious about how you misinterpret Shigaraki's past... I remain that you simply do not understand the anime or should watch the episodes 2-3 times after the fact.

Ikr!!! I feel like they push themselves to watch it on sub cause it's "cooler" or "the right way" even tho they are not understanding anything that's happening. They keep missing the meaning of everything and misunderstanding all the things going on in the story. Like how do they manage to forget that Twice always refused to copy himself and only copied other ppl? Or that Toga has only been able to shape-shift into characters but never been able to use their quirks. Maybe it's bc they are trying to react to many shows at the same time or the fact that they are watching it sub instead of dub, but whatever it is, it's like they are not watching it at all.

It's been 5 seasons and both of them half of the time are clueless about what's happening and how things work. Twice has shown and explained multiple times how his quirk works and they are just realizing thay Twice can make clones of other ppl. Same thing with Toga, she has shown countless times how her quirk works and they just thought it was natural that she could copy Uraraka's quirk. I can forgive them for not noticing Shigaraki's quirk changing cause I can admit it was barely noticeable but as for the other things it's just annoying. If you are going to react to a series then the least you could do is pay attention to it.

Yeah I wouldn't reccomend watching sub in a reaction video. If you watch sub on your own time, you can rewind parts that you don't understand. But for reaction videos, it's best to watch dub.
