Gentle is in his early thirties and La Brava is in her early twenties, she's just a small person kinda like Mineta is 15 but the size of a toddler. People come in many shapes and sizes in the MHA world.

I think it would be more fitting to call Gentle a vigilante, rather than an outright villain. Granted, he really balances on the border between the two at times (like beating the heroes unconscious that just tried to come to the aid of a seemingly innocent store owner), but he is well intentioned for the most part. There's also something about their ages that will make the two seem a lot less creepy. Gentle has naturally grey hair and is not old. If I remember correctly he's in his early 30s. And LaBrava just happens to be small (like Recovery Girl or Gran Torino for example), but she is NOT a child. She's older than 20. So while there is a roundabout ten year gap between them, they are both definitely adults.

The proper term is anti-villain. Just like an anti-hero (or vigilante) is a person who does heroic deeds with the attitude and methods of a villain, an anti-villain does villanous deads with the attitude and methods of a hero. He commits crimes, and unlawful acts, but doesn't actually want to hurt anyone and has a code of ethics as strong as any hero.
