ouchie! If i can ask, is throwing weapons a typical craft for trading high value? Or you looking to make a build around one? I havent done any weapon crafting yet, so its pretty new to me in PD2. Mostly just safety belts & blood rings/gloves

Definitely just for resale, fun, and YT content, although I would've considered making a build around this particular craft. My sites are usually set on 400-500ed, not potentially 600+, so I might have kept this one in this instance. I pretty much just does throw weapons, melee claws, and sometimes caster amulets. I've tried caster necro heads and pelts before, but there are so many damn variables that nothing comes remotely close, unfortunately.

RIP Sick axe. I have a question about Jewel Fragments. Does it matter what item level the stack of fragments has for crafting?

Nope, the jewel ilvl doesn't matter on PD2 or on D2R/LoD. The crafted item takes into account the ilvl of the base item, as well as the level of the character crafting (clvl ). The equation is: item ilvl / 2 (rounded down) + clvl / 2 (rounded down) = craft ilvl The equation only really matters with caster amulets though. You want to be level 93 to get the minimum ilvl from gambled amulets, so the crafted amulet is ilvl 90. For crafted weapons on LoD I think you only needed a ilvl 75 or something. On PD2 I think you're guaranteed maximum affixes at level 80 iirc, but forget that detail.

On PD2 upping is the last step after corrupting and/or socketing, because if the item doesn't survive those steps, then there's no point using an um and fal to see the elite version. With that being said, I would've liked to have seen the damage in the elite form. I don't know the calculation on PD2 with how they altered eth weapons.

I use kryszard's, which shows the normal and exceptional version of craft bases. Definitely take the time to learn all the useful ones if you're not familiar. It took me a bit, but now my eye looks for all the different names besides the elite bases. Definitely consider crafting non-eth bases as well, because so few eth bases drop.

I believe so. In LoD the max on a rare is 450, so I'm not sure which affix got added to the pool of attributes. Previously it was cruel 300 + master's 150, but even if the grandmaster's 200 was added, it wouldn't be high enough for what I've seen. My highest rare is 545, so the base max is either 550 or 600 and the blood craft adds another 50-80, so 630 might be max for blood crafts.

Noper, there are a handful of uniques that are better than the brick. It would only be useful the first day or two on a ladder reset. The ED needs to be at least 300 to beat out some uniques.
