Love seeing your setup. I wanted to tell you about something I do with my Weeks setup. I also have an extra Weeks insert, and I have Post-Its attached to the front. I use the 3x5 size lined, and peal off 10 of them to stick to the cover of the insert notebook. This size is great for the Weeks. It gives me a lot of versatility. I can write directly on them and leave it there, I can pull it and stick it on the front of my cover on cover, I can pull it and put it inside my insert, or I can pull it and stick it on my notes pages to make permanent later. This also gives me something to write on if I need to pass on a note to someone else. This method would work as scrap paper, but not necessarily the daily notes if you want a more permanent record. It doesn't add much bulk and keeps me from carrying scratch paper. Thanks for the content and for the wonderful inspiration.

Using the 100 list as an index is pure genius! The default index page seems lacking considering the number of note pages included. Love how pretty and functional your weeks is.

I love how you are using the notes pages at the back of your Weeks. Also, the stickers are a perfect addition. Such a good video, I'm definitely going to borrow some of your ideas for my Weeks!!!

I like your setup. I just completed my Hobonichi Techo (2016 - it morphed from a planner to a journal). I toyed with the idea of getting a Weeks for 2018, but decided to return to my Midori Passport. I'm excited about being able to switch inserts on a whim and since I plan on taking it everywhere, I'm going to try using it as a wallet. I still love the form factor of the Weeks. I may give it a try next year.

Love your set-up and the stickers add a nice touch plus your handwriting is so cute and fun especially on the headers. You have given me some ideas for my own planner.

I’m glad you found a way to use your weeks. It looks really pretty and functional too! I wouldn’t worry so much about running out of note paper, for it takes away from the joy of using it. Since you are now more relaxed about the way you use this planner, I would keep this mindset for the notes pages as well. It seems like you should keep using them for collections, just as you are doing now. For everything else (random notes, detailed daily to do’s etc.), a weeks companion notebook would be a really good idea, given the fact that it’s so slim and would add almost no bulk to your personal planner. Plus, you would make good use of your TN cover, if nothing else! 😁

Great tips, especially how you organize the notes section. Thank you. I really like the colorful ink pages! @7:55 the bright yellow with a splash of pink and green is gorgeous and very happy! :-D // I love the rainbow ink idea, I'm going to try that out for a week, a different ink color each day!

I love this video so much! I am new to Weeks and have been experimenting too as I try to find a routine. I also have been using the clear Mambi stickers. In it and they make me so happy... seeing them in yours did too😊! Thanks for sharing!❤️

I totally hear you on the rough notes amongst the nice collections. I have the mega and I think I will run a strip of washi down to devide the notes sections up into two - 'good' stuff at the front and random notes towards the back. I seem to be preferring my cousin at the moment though.

Really interesting, thank you. How do you use your planners for example when making a hair appt? Would that go in your cousin or your weeks? If it went in your cousin would you put it in your monthly spread or directly in your weekly spread?
@VeganOrganizer6 жыл бұрын
Katherine Hodgson Thanks! Anything time-bound goes in my Cousin even if it's not work related just because it might affect work appointments. I put it all in the weekly spread - I use the monthly for larger scale stuff like project planning.

It looks so pretty, but there’s just one thing: Colored ink degrades over time. Black is long lasting, followed by regular blue, but the fun colors are another story. I once kept a diary using a different color of ink for each day in rotation. It’s unreadable now. The pink and purple turned into a blur, like it spread out and got absorbed by the paper. The aqua didn’t hold up too well, either. Maybe the ink you are using is better than what I used. Time will tell.

Can you recommend a regular or narrow size planner?
@VeganOrganizer7 жыл бұрын
Goodness, there are so many options! Would you prefer a bound planner, ringbound, discbound, traveller's notebook, etc? The Weeks is a great narrow option. I also love the Hobonichi Cousin, which is A5. I'm not sure if that's the kind of size you had in mind.
