I bought the CT eyes to mesmerise in Marie Antoinette and loved it so much I have just purchased all 6 shades! They are so easy to apply and I love them all. I also find they are a great base to put some Matt eyeshadows on top and still make my eyes pop. Thank you for showing all your tips for application as they are really helpful xx

I know this is a few months old Elle, but I wanted to tell you that you really need to try the Almay (I know, Almay???) cream shadows in the little tubes. They are amazing, and I would LOVE to see you do a few tutorials with some of the different colors!

I use CT cream eyeshadow every day. They last for ages but I use a small brush to place the product on my lid, then a fluffy brush to move it upwards and outwards. I find that otherwise , its easy to accidentally pick up too much product because they are soooo creamy and pigmented.

I didn’t wear it often but my Charlotte Tilbury Bette shadow was going strong at the 5 year point. I did end up pitching it because it’s probably technically not great to keep a cream that long, but it really seemed to look and perform the same as the day I bought it! Gorgeous shade.

I got hooked when Colourpop came out with their super shock shadows, many years ago. Only drawback is if you have a big makeup collection, they tend to dry out. Thanks sister! 💋

Oh dear me! Now I know where I've been going wrong. I've been trying to "spread" one of the CT's Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadows with my finger. You're absolutely right - fingers are not the way to go. No idea why I didn't think of using a brush tho, 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Thank you so, so much for shining your "light" on this (I think it may have been assumed, by other YT's, that the way to apply these products is common knowledge. ) 💙💗💙💗💙

I just received my Danessa Myrick’s cream shadow. Holy cr... is it ever pigmented. A tiny drop stained my hand, my sink everything! Definitely a learning curve! Love Charlotte Tilbury cream shadows.

My wife is going to be so happy that watching this video isn’t going to cost her money, as I’m spoiled enough that I have those CT shadows and brushes - such game changers for me as I really, really struggled with powder shadows before expanding first into the Laura Mercier caviar sticks and then into the Eyes to Mesmerise. Yes!! I’m an NC42 and the CT ones are great on my skin. I have rose-gold, chocolate bronze and Bette. I also have the colour chameleon in amber haze. Looks great.

Diana D just use less concealer, let it sit for a minute.. pat out the crease with your finger and then set it with a compact or a loose powder :)

Also, I have found Julep and Bobbi Brown sticks to be long lasting on me! My fave eye primer is bare minerals, no other primer has kept shadows from creasing on me like it does.

I love MAC paint pots. I'm 60 and get no creasing at all with them. I have oily, crepey lids and don't need a primer with them. In fact, they act as a primer!

Melissa Rose ok time clarify they are cruelty free so they all are synthetic hair. But what I was referring to was a real synthetic haired brush like a concealer brush.

Ok, what am I missing here? It didn't seem to be any quicker using cream (and actually may have taken longer to diffuse), and you ended up using a powder anyway as a transition shade. I wish someone would make a tutorial using only cream, including a lid, a transition and a darker crease / outer V shade, just as you would use 3 powder shades..

First, she uses an intense shadow from an inaccessible brand no one has heard of instead of the product “everyone” was asking about. Does that make sense to you because it doesn’t to me.Secondly, her technique of dark shadow on the lid severely emphasizes her hooded eyes. Nothing pretty about it. Next!
