Yay Turkey Month!🦃 My house has been a wreck too Tina, I have been doing the same type of "tidbit-tours" for that very reason! I loved seeing your collections🥰 Love the selection of frames on your gallery wall and the table at the end of the hall is PERFECTION...the grate on your wall just reminded me that I bought a huge one this spring and don't have a spot for it - too darn big! LOL. I will find a home for it eventually! OOOOh the Italian tole scones in the bathroom are definitely my jam, one of these days you and I will go shopping together...I'm going to manifest it!!!! heehee😁

Yes! Manifest! 🥰 I am so busy all the time, I never have enough time to set aside for organizing anything. I have piles. It's terribly disconcerting, which in turn makes it worse. 😒 I will EVENTUALLY tackle everything, but I can't focus on one thing. I try to solve too much at once. Tina ⭐ Your house has such a deeply layered luscious European Castle Library feel 🏰! I love it ❤ There are so many pieces I want to say how much I love but it all won't fit here? So I'll keep it to a minimum. I'm in love with the scrap board. I could spend hours looking at that. I was so tickled to see the brass horse buckles. I also collect them but you have some I've never even seen. I'm so sorry about your house problems. I can relate I just got hit with Hurricane Milton category 4 🌀 direct hit. I went without power internet &water for weeks! I understand so well about the bucket you have no idea 💡 I can relate sister. That is so funny about the you not liking the thermostat---me neither! I hung a picture over mine---the wire on the back of the picture fits very nicely over the top of the thermostat. One day I will put up a proper hook to hang the old picture from, but it works fine for now. Love your house, especially the way you deal with things like the wipes, putting them into vintage containers. I do the same, hate modern functional stuff out where I can see it. your giant memo board is fabulous. And I appreciated your very good pun thanking us all for the "well wishes"---about your well, LOL! I also live sort of in the country & have a well & septic & occasional power outages. I set gallon jugs of water in the guest bathtub if there's any suggestion of bad weather or forest fires coming, before the power goes out.

🧡Yes, I put everything in different containers if it will be visible and not in a cabinet. I hate modern functionality, too! I want a cohesive look. I love living in the country, but that is one thing that really stinks about it.

That’s a great idea! I’ve been looking for a way to decorate my thermostat, and that’s perfect. I mentioned that to my husband before, he keeps telling me our thermostat won't work properly if it's fully covered. Maybe mesh around the sides? 🤔

@avisioninvintageco9883 mine is operating just fine. But it makes me think of those vintage gold metal tissue box covers! .. it could be cut down to size with metal snips and the openwork (ormolu) would allow it to "breathe" and still detect the temperature.

I was thinking I know you have a whole plethora of old cigar boxes & wouldn’t one cut out & placed over it look awesome. I think I may have to do that now? All of your floral arrangements are so pretty with their toned down brown green colours. I have a bunch of faux plants and pieces but I wish they weren't so brightly coloured. They scream "green" lol, ruining the old timey gothic magical vibe I'm going for. Any advice on how to make them look better I would greatly appreciate. Thank you!
