Nice set up. One suggestion: You should use Black Gorilla Tape for the rubber mat seams. I did that to mine and it looks sleek and it's easier to clean. No dust/dirt in the seams anymore. I would double the tape on the seams to make it last.

That floor was actually our first "upgrade" purchase for our home. The day we closed, I had them come to the house and get started...that is how excited I was to get it done hahah. Definitely recommend other people consider it as well,.

I have that same rack. Rogue monster and titan series attachments fits that rack. I got many attachments from both companies they work great 👍

Where do you recommend getting the smaller accessory equipment like TRX, resistance bands, etc ?

I tend to do my best to support local companies here in the ATX. Fringe Sport being one of them. If you don't have any local equipment manufacturers, next step is chain sports store, or amazon.

Nice garage gym... I'm looking to do something like this myself. Not sure if the epoxy flooring is worth the time and money though when it's going over concrete anyways.

Thank you for watching the video and the comment! In terms of time, it was only a 2 day job, and it was a company that did it so it wasn’t bad at all. Just depends on personal preference if you view the cost as worth it. For us, it was a no brainer to make the gym feel the way we wanted it to. Plus when we go to sell the home in the future it will present itself well to new buyers and essentially pay for itself.

Did you level out the floor/platform at all?

The epoxy flooring I had done was leveled. Then hard rubber mats were put over it.

@@josurke yeah they need to grind down some areas to make sure it’s a good surface for the epoxy to sit, otherwise you risk it cracking.
