The beach scene in the Blues Brothers movie was filmed here at Phil’s Beach. Also a couple of scenes of cop cars crashing were filmed on Rt 12 right by where McDonalds is now. 35 year resident.

It's interesting to know that there are very few businesses that I walk in to without being met with a unique level of service....they address me by my name (or some flavor of, ha...:)) My neighborhood is friendly with a few places conveniently to lift weights or bike safely. The community, as a whole, provides a significant feeling of safety. Being centralized near high-quality medical care is also a plus. In the past 40 years, I have seen a significant improvement to the community and the resources/services provided across all age groups!
