I love it, now that’s a great DIY for us older bucks. Thanks-for sharing kind sir. Heading out to make one right now. I will be using ABS with elbow fittings,(two arms), wire/cable secured at both ends and some good old fashion tarp.

I hope it works out for you. Mine worked so well that even the ugliness couldn't stop the neighbors from borrowing it 2 winters ago. I do have to put a new tarp on mine this year, but only because I'd been using it to cover firewood.

Glad it worked for you. I'll be digging mine out again soon to clear my roofs too.

Love it. Looks like crap but works awesome -- even better! Thanks for sharing, and nice idea to only do angle bracket on one side. You proved that's all that's needed.

Hey, thanks. I'd rather have something ugly that works than something pristine but useless. The fact that I could make this for free from junk makes it all the better. I am hoping to get into doing some better content soon though. I have a BUNCH of projects waiting for me to have the time to work on them. several cars & trucks, a dozen or so motorcycles, lots of tool builds. If the snow would ever stop so I could actually work on them I might be able to make some fun videos. Thank you for taking the time to watch and thank you more for the comment.

Thanks, I sure wish I had come up with the design. It sure beats climbing up on the roof and breaking your back shoveling. My neighbor borrowed it and when he brought it back he said he's going to buy one for next year.
