This is only a CMS with provided hosting, pre-made themes were provided by WordPress. You are not actually coding, all these are just templates that wordpress lets you customise. It's like canva vs photoshop/Figma/illustrator etc. so if you think of beyond the provided templates ,, you will feel the limitations and the difference between an actual developer and a so called wordpress relaying ones. For dynamic websites or static sites but robust design flexibility then you should go for custom code. And if you just want a website, ok with the templates and themes and just serving static information and files then ur good to go with this wordpress stuff,, which I don't recommend actually as a full stack engineer. I'm just curious to see that these days, someone using WordPress calls themselves a web developer. 😅
