After watching the NFL Draft last night and Tony was wearing the neck brace. It’s genius marketing because the NFL commentators explained what happened to him. Smartest angle they done, yes. Is it the best? No

My only complaint: (In kayfabe) the entire roster is more afraid of the Elite than supportive of Tony Khan. There was about 2 minutes between the gut punch and the TK Driver and there wasn't even a ref yelling at them.

I watched this segment and it made me laugh so much that I have decided to give AEW a go. The 5 star matches didn't make me want to watch but this really tickled me. When Shad came out looking confused I died.

The angle with the Elite and TK is also likely being used as a catalyst to bring Kenny back. After the show, he tweeted that he'll be on Dynamite next week. He's no doubt got some issues to discuss with the Bucks. Im hoping that this will eventually lead to Kenny getting back with Hangman, as both have been kicked out of the Elite, and both have been gone for a while, allowing the Bucks to run roughshod through the company. Kenny and Hanger will avenge TK in the end 🤣

The Jericho vortex definitely worked for Sammy Guevara. He was main eventing ppvs with Darby, and MJF. Sammy just took a lot of time off when he became a dad, and then got himself suspended. Which sucks because I was invested in Guevara.

I think Jericho’s learning tree thing stops working when other wrestlers start wanting his help. Swerve is capable of cutting more than one promo. I don’t get why he couldn’t cut a promo to open both Dynamite and Collision. They serve different purposes anyway. The Dynamite promo is for the current audience to show that Swerve is being taken seriously as champion, the collision promo is to try and draw in new viewers from the lead in, “this is our champion, he just got the belt, so this is the start of a freshstory to get in on”.

The only problem I have is that I feel like as time goes on aew Becomes more and more like what it wasn't trying to be in the beginning. I almost was certain I remember tony khan saying he will never become an on screen character, to avoid the overused authority figure vs talent angle
