The problem happened with those foreigners who come to India with too low budget then they start eating very cheap food from street side vendors which only very poor people eat. If they eat from decent place, food poisoning will never happen. India is cheap but foreigners should not travel too cheap. Their body can't handle it

@@30Ravi Correct! These vendors use low quality refined oils and they reuse it again and again. A half decent restaurant offers good, clean food. Plus, you can’t expect these vendors to use good quality spices or maintain cleanliness.

I have two close friends who are foreigners. They wanted to come to India. I told them I feel super protective about them. If they come to my city, I would ideally want to book them a car and feed them home cooked, healthy meals with less spices. I would want to accompany them to translate things and help them shop. If they weren't in my city I'd try to do some research from my friends in other cities so that they don't get lost and eat and sleep well. I fully understand how hot and crowded it can get and feel really protective of my foreign friends. Almost like a mother. ❤

You can’t be serious right?!?! 🤣🤣🤣 In the US are street vendors are not allowed to just sell any old thing. They are held accountable for the ingredients they use and food safety regulations. They are pay large sums of money for a permit to even be able to do so in the first place. The exchange rate alone says that even the poorest people in the US could afford the greatest luxuries in India but perhaps they don’t know that the street vendor food is not well vetted and there are little to no sanitary requirements. They feel they are looking for a more “authentic experience” so they try to eat what they see others eat. It has nothing to do with “broke” and I could say some really insulting things considering the massive amount of poverty there is in India but I actually really love and respect you guys culture so it just comes off really sad that you are clearly so insecure that this is the first thing that comes to your mind especially when you all have your literal CHILDREN running foreigners down, pulling on they arms and clothed, stalking their cars begging for money, scam artists everywhere, constantly trying to sell us “dumb Americans” something for 100x the usual cost with insulting us in your native language. That is no way to treat guests. So sad that you project your miserable reality into others. I hope you can mature and see how greatly lacking in character your statement is 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Some of the foreigners like this guy, with their empty pockets and basically looking like a homeless person come to India with their smelly clothes and a backpack that looks antique and even after collecting all the information before travelling, they consciously choose to go to the cheapest of cheap places in the country which the middle class Indians never use because they are the legends in being a cheap stake. And then you make a video saying that you had to face challenges. Let me tell you that the challenge is not the place, the challenge is that you cannot afford even the basic good amenities which is not India's problem. One suggestion to you - If you are broke then learn to embrace the cheap stuff because that's all you can afford or save up a decent amount of money and go to the good places tourist destinations in India like the others do. You people deliberately go to a huge and prosperous country like India and only choose to visit the poor areas, make videos of those places only and narrate your sob story on how uncomfortable things are to the entire world. Had enough of foreigners like you stereotyping our country.

Now people in the comments are blaming Drew for eating street food as they claim it is for the poor? so you need to be rich to eat proper food in India? Instead of blaming the very, very poor sanitary conditions in most parts of India, they are blaming the tourist? But honestly that is typical Indian behaviour. They don-t like critisism and are will always blame the person affected by their bad behaviour. Interesting how people are not writing about the filth and slumlike conditions almost everywhere you go. Travelling from Delhi to Agra was like a nightmare to my heart as I had never seen anything slumlike like this on such a scale. Would definitely not recommend travelling to India after my perhaps 10 trips or so. Took me 30 minutes to find a decent toilet in Rishikesh just as an example. Hundreds or thousands of little kids sleeping on the streets was also something to cope with as there seems to be no hope for their desperate situation anywhere, just exploitation and misery. And the pride of the people, hard to understand what makes them so proud. And the still existing cast system which makes people look upon each other in a very inhumane way. and the widow burning, or has it been band meanwhile? are the human sacrifices still going on or are they outlawed meanwhile. I think you either love or hate it as you can travel for hours and not see any beauty just desolation and poverty. this guy must have had similar experiences kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWmZmomthZKVd6M&pp=ygUoaW5kaWEsIG5ldmVyIHRyYXZlbCB0aGVyZSBhZ2FpbiBob3JyaWJsZQ%3D%3D

I am from India but even we are afraid to eat street food of crowded streets as the uncovered food gets all kinds of unhygienic staff from passing by poeples and 90 % shops remain empty and mostly rural people or who can't afford mostly got here as their immunity is already strong .whenever I see foreign people going to street food shops rather than restaurants, hotels I can predict that they are going to have digestive issues 😂😂

India is overall very diverse from inside The crowd, chaos which you see is just a tiny part of that with the rest of the parts being completely difference For example you can experience a silent forest trek in Himalayan mountains with old buddhist monasteries if you go to Northeast india, you can see a version of Tibet in Ladakh, you can see a natural retreat in the mountain valley in Himachal Pradesh You can experience a typical seaside beach in Goa, you can experience the beauty of tropical backwaters in Kerala and a old European town vibe in the city of Kochi You can be amazed to see the flora and fauna of Ooty a hill station in South India + mountain railway ride in Darjeeling, Himachal Pradesh Moreover you can even experience snowfall in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh Better watch the travel vlogs of India made by american, british youtubers like Ride with Gabi, Those happy days, Dannys Gotta world loose!!!! There is a lot of propaganda in youtube these days against China, India Actually India is the fastest growing economic power currently earlier it was China!!! Poverty is currently shrinking rapidly as more and more Indians are entering middle class category! India has the fastest growing middle class and currently India is in its transition phase something which China faced in 1990s, South Korea in 1970s! Comparing an emerging typical Asian economic powerhouse with a backward Islamic Middle Eastern hellhole is ridiculous If you selectively visit North india then I have nothing to say Ladakh Kashmir Himachal Pradesh Sikkim Northeast india South India Andaman islands Rajasthan Hrishikesh No sane person who visited these places would dislike them Slums, dirt are a tiny portion of the entire sphere that is India People say europe is good but there are ghettos in east and south europe Moreover this video is actually old and focussing on kolkata a city near bangladesh and one of the poorest, corrupted places in india That's why I am prefering you to watch the videos on India by western travel vloggers on youtube an Israeli who has travelled all over India, I am not biased and stereotyped like you visting only certain parts of India which are the worst, and regarding economy do a bit of reading, only 15 percentof the Indian population lives below poverty line United Nations is not lying about Indias economic growth Watch international news India is a rising global power II

Earlier this year, I was on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha, Qatar to Europe and the plane was 90 percent Indian. For some reason even the entire cabin and services crew was Indian. To put it in the most polite way possible, India is not a country I will ever visit after that experience.

@@darthcef Yes, and where do those come from? Have you ever visited any part of India? I can bet you just took a look at some random videos of the worst parts of the country, speaking of which, your country has those, too. In any case, my small town on the foothills of the Indian Himalayan mountain ranges probably has less AQI than whatever random country yours is in. So, fix your own air pollution first, "mate".

So... 1. You found out that India is overpopulated 2. You decided to eat from any random street vendor instead of eating at a decent restraunt which caused you to get food poisoning 3. You were unlucky enough to be in an accident which can happen in just about any country in the word. Damn guys, we Indians really have it out for foreigners. Definitely not his fault for trying to live on 20 rupees a day and buying cheap food that only the poorest of the poor eat and staying in crap hotels.

@@mylord8105 wtf do you mean by that? Why do you feel the need to hate on a religion, especially when the person u r hating has probably never even met you in ur life. If you don't like a specific person/group, that doesn't mean the whole religion is bad. Its like saying the entirety of Pakistan is bad just because of their government. In reality, all religions are extremely similar, and there is no need to spread the hate started by the British. Most Muslims are also peacefull, it's just the small few that go to the streets to riot that are not, and those are the ones that cause the hate and give the whole religion a bad name, and the same could be said for Hindus or any other religion, as well. You could be thinking Muslims are bad, because you choose to ignore the things the Hindus did during the riots, and only focus on the deeds of the Muslims, whereas some Muslims may be thinking Hindus are bad, because they choose to ignore the things the Muslims did, and only focus on the Hindus. It is just these riots and conflicts caused by the petty few that cause the hate, but in reality there is absolutely no need to hate on another religion.
