I love my Vision Pro, watching movies in this thing is such a game changer. I can’t even see a reason why to go to a movie theatre anymore. The only problem I have is that I don’t have a Mac so I’m currently waiting for the M4 Macs so I can finally have to e full ecosystem

I just got my apple vision pro in Canada, 3 weeks ago, and love it! I use it everyday and I agree, watching movies on those 4k screens is next level. The 4k 3d movies available on apple tv plus and disney plus are insane. I also have over 100 3d blu rays and I'm currently ripping them to watch in vision pro using, Moonplayer. They look great! Like you, I wanted the full experience and bought a macbook air, 2 weeks before the vision pro. All you need is a macbook with an M2chip, that runs Sonoma in order to take advantage of screen mirroring. So I saved some money and got a refurbished mac from 2022, and it works seamlessly with vision pro. I just look at my macbook while wearing the headset and a connect button appears, click on it and presto.....You have a big ass 4k representation of your mac's screen that you can reposition and resize. The best part is you can use the keyboard and trackpad and work with it. Save yourself some money and get an older mac.

I love my Vision Pro. To me, it’s an iPad Pro replacement on steroids. The display quality is unlike anything I’ve ever seen for movies/entertainment. Hand tracking and eye tracking just works. Love the Mac integration. Vision OS 2 really also improved a lot of things. Excited to see where this goes next once Vision becomes more affordable. Killer apps for me are Apple TV + (watching movies replaces home theater exp) Dinosaurs app (comes free) - incredible demo of what it’s capable of What If - Marvel - amazing story telling experience. Exclusive to AVP and pushes what is capable Vision OS 2 - the entire experience is the killer app. It’s just different. I only wish it weighed less (and cheaper of course) - comfort is a huge concern for many. I had to buy an adapter to use an extra solo knit strap for the top of my head from Etsy. Game changer for comfort. Honestly should be included.

First, let me say thank you for your “review”. And I agree with a lot of what you said. But the main thing is it’s not for everyone. And I 100% believe it’s because of the price. I love my Apple vision, Pro, and I use it for hours per day in my work. a couple tech companies, one focused on support other focused on software. I am a highly mobile individual and I don’t get the benefit of buying a 42 inch curved Samsung display and taking that with me wherever I wanna go. With the Vision Pro I just pack and go. And if you think that’s expensive, I think the best case of division pro is in tandem with a MacBook Pro. However you don’t have a MacBook Pro and you splurge for the Vision Pro, you won’t be disappointed if you take it for what it is… It’s an early adopters foray into spatial computing. I don’t mean any negativity behind it and it’s actually a good thing. I say early, because the visionOS software is not mature at all. For example, the Photos app has no ability to edit the photos. It’s just a little quirk but once you start utilizing spatial computing in a meaningful way, you understand just how amazing this is. I am blown away by the Fidelity, and of course connectivity. I am a 10 year plus user of the oculus quests. Ranging from the oculus rift to the go, to the quests 1, 2, Pro and 3. And I know a lot of people get upset when I say this, but it’s the truth. The quest is a toy. It’s an Xbox replacement. If you don’t believe me’s reveal of the quest two and quest three. Combine both presentations. They’re probably about 2 1/2 hours and all 2 1/2 hours -30 seconds is dedicated to video games. Sharing things with the quest was a nightmare. It was either nonexistent or you had to use Facebook or a messenger that wasn’t compatible with messenger. With the Vision Pro I can just drag drop anything into my standard Messages app and text it to someone’s phone number. I mean, just at functionality alone is worth it for me. Being able to call someone on a FaceTime chat and share my Vision Pro screen with them as a game changer. Almost every of my clients have purchased multiple vision pros because they see how I use it. What people don’t understand about Apple is they’re never gonna give you the highest quality spec number, but they will sell you an experience. Every person that I talk to that have purchased an iPad that don’t use. It had purchased an iPad that only has Wi-Fi. When you purchase the iPad with cellular, it becomes ridiculously useful. The same as said with the Vision Pro. If you have no idea why you purchased it, then you are not an early adopter, you are just a person that has money to blow. That second item you said it’s for engineers…. You’re on the right track, but my experience it’s for people that really want an infinite screen, without cluttering their set up. When I do get a chance to work from home, I don’t even use a monitor anymore. It’s actually too constricting. And it’s interesting as people have complained about their only one in the Vision Pro for their Mac. That is such a weird thing to complain about when you think about it from this perspective. on your Mac you’re running Final Cut Pro and it’s on a massive 50 foot screen but an open space to the left. You have your text messages and an open space on the right you have your email and above the Final Cut Pro screen and open space you have Safari… and your mouse and keyboard from the MacBook travels between the MacBook screen and the other visionOS free standing applications. Why do you need multiple monitors? And now with visionOS two, being able to take any photo and make it spatial is a sight to behold. I have converted so many pictures with this method, and it gives depth via computer learning (AI) and it’s actually quite a shocking thing to see. I mean, I can go on for days about this product, however. I think the wrong people are buying it because I hear similar situations. no you’re not gonna be able to go swimming with it, you’re not gonna be able to do HIIT workout because it’s just gonna absorb all the sweat and it’s going to stink, But it’s a productivity monster. But again, thanks for your review, and you may be one of the people that it’s not for, But it’s not going to have an immediate impact on your average consumer, the way AirPods did… oh wait. The AirPods were hated as well. Every KZbinr couldn’t stand them because of the fear of how they would look to other people. But people with courage, started stuff out and utilizing them in public, it gave the followers the ability to be OK with being seen with it in public. Being able to watch whatever you want to or only your eyes can see it, means you can do anything, including reading and editing documents containing sensitive, eyes only content. Which I do multiple times a week. And using my phone as a hotspot, significantly increases my ability to use this device. I don’t have a tremendous amount of content on my TikTok because I work a lot. But if you want to see some of the things I’ve done with my Vision Pro, here ya go. @batnificent Let me know what you think

Absolutely love this comment and value the in depth input you provided as a heavy user 🙏🏾 I can definitely see this being a future product people look back on and say "how did we ever complain about this product". Apple has a pretty good track record of launching products that end up being an everyday driver after a few iterations I'm personally looking forward to what version 2.0 or 3.0 of the AVP will be. Honestly if it was maybe 500-1k cheaper and I wasn't in the market for the new m4 macbook pro, I may have considered investing in one for the longer term just to see the improvements that Apple makes to it over time. Will definitely take some time to check out your videos! Thank you for watching 🙌🏾

I tried the meta q 3 and it is ok but not something i would use everyday this is in the same category but much more expensive, i also bought the psvr and had it for one day then sent it back to cumbersome to use. until they get the weight size and dorkiness ironed out i don’t see this working for most people unfortunately.

Is the screen grainy like do you see pixels?
@hyggeligt0076 ай бұрын
You do see pixels but Apple has intentionally kept the the virtual image ever so slightly out of focus that it feels like a global anti-alias filter, smoothing out the pixel boundaries. Smart move, given the current tech limitations. It's a simple to understand physics problem but it has no easy solutions. We are still far away from the gold standard of crossing 60 pixels per degree in the optical system, where we can see no pixels whatsoever. AVP manages a PPD number of 30+ (which varies on the individual's face). Still better than the rest of the consumer VR solutions out there, Quest 3 can only manage a number in the low 20s.
@PaulKeppler5 ай бұрын
Yes, pixels and motion blur are visible. Very over hyped
@ethanmcfarland-h6y5 ай бұрын
It shows pixels, but in such way you don’t feel completely overtaken by the screen, and it’s majority your surroundings you see pixels of, still way less pixelated than a Metaquest.
@ethanmcfarland-h6y5 ай бұрын
If you switch to a mountain surrounding for instance, then you don’t see any pixels, and it’s really all just capsized by the quality of the surrounding you’re in, it’s almost scary as how realistic it’s becoming, yet still lets your brain know you aren’t 400 feet in the air, I can’t afford it, but it’s amazing.

@NoahCBanks6 ай бұрын
That apple tax is real haha I think I would maybe be okay spending $2,000 for a used one just because I am a tech enthuaist who likes testing out new gear. It's still pretty high in comparison to the Quest 3 or Playstation VR2 but I do think they have revolutionary tech that outs them above the rest
@justinbaker28836 ай бұрын
@NoahCBanks think that's fair and I agree 2k is prolly the real price. $1999 for the base 256GB model feels right for what it is. I think what apple did was okay tho, if they did sell it at 2k I think it would have sold out and scalpers would have jacked up the price to 3500. By selling it for 3.5K they cut out the scalpers and let everyone know hey this prolly isn't for you yet, please wait a bit
@hyggeligt0076 ай бұрын
It's not a very easy question because the so called Apple tax is to cover the contract manufacturer costs. The manufacturer will levy high charge based on the time booked by Apple to use their equipment, and the total number of units being produced. That optical system alone costs upwards of 1500$, then the sheer tech and years of patents packed into the system is easily another 1000$+. I would say that Apple is selling it damn cheap, all things considered. But it still turns out to be expensive because it's a nascent technology. Especially when you consider the likes of Varjo that sell headsets for 10000 USD, and it has to be tethered to a system. Not shitting on either Apple or Varjo here, but it's easy to miss all of this stuff in the middle of all the noise.
@PaulKeppler5 ай бұрын
Should be $1000 max. I tried it at the store. It was cool, but those screens did not live up to the hype or price tag. The pixels are visible. There is motion blur. The exterior cameras must not be the best because Apple's signs on the walls in the store were nearly illegible. I had my contacts in and can see the signs just fine without it on. The passthrough is just not the quality they hyped it to. There is noticeable lag In the passthrough as well.

Notice he has no apple products at all in the background and he said he just went out and bought it. His interview didn’t even sound like a review. It sound like a low-key hate for Apple in general the way he said it notice when everybody reviews the Apple Vision Pro they have some kind of Apple device in the background to compare software and FaceTime never brought up spatial personas brought up visionOS 2 I Don’t understand rookie reviewer with barely anytime reviewing anything. Apple tries to review something. It’s a disgrace to the Internet and all it stands for. if you wanna review something Apple or android please go out on the product first don’t go out to buy it just review it and you haven’t had it for a while because most people don’t come into a review showcasing old stuff in vision software that’s been updated. A child could’ve done better job reviewing this OK, let’s get back to the basics. Let’s review your review no context the only thing you can complain about on the Apple Vision Pro if you get down to brass tax in layman’s terms busines it doesn’t have that many apps it’s a little heavy on the front and there’s not another headset out there on its level with the video quality that it presents and it works with every other Apple product.
