Yeahhhh...so true...lathering after a long stretch of protective styling takes a while...

Lather doesn't equal clean. We are used to it but the lather we are accustomed to is mostly from chemicals that don't do anything to help with cleansing.. We have to focus on the cleansing.

the lack of lather may have been from not cleansing more regularly not necessarily the product. the more buildup the less lather you will see

From the reviews I've seen. It looks like you need to give the deep conditioner time to work through your hair before the slip is activated. Many people don't like it during initial application, only afterwards.

I've found it easier to condition first before deep conditioning for more slip and moisture

Hey! Not boiling hot but hotter than warm and when I was done rinsing off the deep conditioner I used warm water as my last rinse.
