@@horse-lover68 The horses do not wear halters in the pasture. Jami only uses them when she brings them out for grooming or treatment purposes. She also said she would not leave the glasses on Voo, as I’m sure she knows they could get stuck on something. She’s a good horse momma!❤️

What a great gift for Voo, in Britain our police horses wear these to protect their eyes from riot situations and also in London the city dust and grit. In Voo’s case they will also protect against flies and UV light ❤️

Knowing you , you probably read the instructions anyway I have had horses for many years , I feel these would be extremely unsafe to leave on a horse. So I looked them up. This was highlighted on the instructions. “ Do NOT Leave the horse unattended while wearing the eVysor. Do it under your supervision. Designed for use during riding only and when your horse is supervised.” I can imagine all kinds of ways this could injure the horses eyes. The horses need their forelock!! Wiping their eyes and face with a cool damp cloth when you are doing your daily grooming should keep them from getting goopy and hair sticking to their eyes. And the horses grow to love it ! I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching you with your horses. I was glad when I heard you saying you thought it wouldn’t be a good idea to leave the googles on. Love you and your horses I could watch you all day. I will be glad when Voo is home in his shady pasture ❤️

The glasses are not just good as sun protection but flies can not bother his eyes. I love them. Also since your horse don't mind have the hose baths maybe you could find a fly spray that hooks onto the hose. Then for the final rinse you could push a switch and apply a nice list of repellent.

Voo - the coolest looking horse in the pasture! We have a 3-year old German Shepherd living down the street and he has to wear a pair of doggy sunglasses daily because of a rare eye condition, where any bit of sunlight will take away more and more of his ability to see. He's used to wearing them by now (had them since a puppy). That's a very wonderful gift!

I'd definitely be putting those sunglasses on Voodoo during the brightest/hotttest parts of the day. But keep a close eye on him at first & less as time goes on.
