It's actually illegal to pay rent upfront. The Tenancy Law of Lagos State prohibits it and both the landlord who collects the rent and the tenant who pays such would be liable under the law

This video is detailed and insightful but the part where you spoke about inspection fee is very wrong You pay for consultation when you go to see a doctor right so why is it a problem to pay for inspection fee You have all this specification, what if you Dont take the house with them, how are they compensated, I personally Dont ask most times but after clients frustrate me omo I started making it clear, all in all awesome video🙌
