My brother, we have a similar mindset, I was watching you with my wife, and when you mentioned saving over 2m due to choosing ur taste of materials, not other people's taste. She looked at me and said, "Just like you." she always wanted premium, but I differ on that. Ride on bro, you doing well managing these phases yourself.

That's a great mindset to have! It's important to choose materials that you truly love and that align with your vision, rather than simply following trends or others' preferences. It sounds like you and your wife make a great team in making decisions that reflect your tastes and values. Keep up the fantastic work on your project!

Every detail you gave about your experience with our Nigerian artisan resonates with me. Imagine a situation where you have a job for them and money to pay yet they can be completely useless. That got me to think Buhari was right when he said something about the laziness of some of our people. Well done man. I really understand what you might have gone through to get to this point.

I'm glad my experiences resonated with you. Dealing with unreliable artisans can be incredibly frustrating. It's important to find those who are dedicated and professional. I hope your project goes smoothly!

Another wondaful video and update. So sorry to see the impact of the storm on the electric fence wire. I hope the guy is able to put storm into consideration this time around. I support you change the painters too, you case is similar to what i experienced. Changing quotation and insufficient paint buckets, i ended up buying additional paints and paying extra. The work also took forever, and that's where the extra charges come in. The find out overtime that the longer they stay the more they have to spend on logistic, when in actual sense they could have bring in more hands and finish off withing few days. My electrical guy was a childhood friend, and very honest guy, a professional at what he does. He got me all the lightings from Alaba international market at N1200 - N1500 for the spotlights, i chose the design, while he went to get them. His charges for thein installation.

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you faced with your house project. It's frustrating when unexpected issues arise dealing with unreliable painters. It's great that you have a trustworthy and skilled electrical guy to rely on. Hopefully, the rest of your project goes smoothly!

Thank God nothing major happened after the storm and sorry for the damage on the electric fence wire. My brother, what can I say, all of them are the same everywhere and thieves at the same time. I sacked the engineer man looking after my house project 1 yr ago when I discovered that he’s not straight forward . I and my husband took the project upon ourselves to look for people that are specialized in their field, by doing so, we saved money! They think we have money tree at the back of our house abroad. God will help us! It’s well

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you faced with the engineer on your project. It's wise to take matters into your own hands and find reliable professionals. It's unfortunate that some people try to take advantage of others. I'm glad to hear that you were able to save money by being proactive. Keep pushing forward, and may your project continue smoothly!

Great video and thanks for the tips. Do you think the weather pattern is changing due to global warming? I was told some houses got their roof blown off. How do you plan to fix yours electric fence to protect against future occurrences?
@CharlesOtti
@CharlesOtti 8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, it's possible that changing weather patterns, influenced by global warming, could lead to more extreme weather events like storms. To protect against future occurrences, you might consider reinforcing the electric fence with stronger materials or installing additional supports.

Why is there no honesty and transparency in mama afrika, it is such a shame😇

It's disheartening to see dishonesty and lack of transparency in some situations, especially when it impacts important projects or interactions. However, there are still many honest and transparent individuals working hard to make positive changes in Africa.

Honestly, the stress of dealing with fraudulent people is insane! You'd just start wondering why you're putting in that much energy into something that should be pretty straightforward. You can't get straightforward from these people😂 they gonna frustrate you small🤏🏼😅

Ohhh no , i don't let them do this to my goals, As you know they'll try to frustrate you in their own ways, even i have to stop using the engineer at some point, because they ransacked and steal all of the housing gadgets and personal belongings i stored in my gym house, you can't trust anyone , Do it as you go , i will advise you to get a cottage done in your compound and have someone staying there for safety reasons, And don't leave the projects unattended to because weeds might start growing in your property, Good luck
