Antoro Velvet leaves are soft and fluffy. Mine is very thirsty and I have only 3 leaves on her right now. I’m waiting for growing season with all of my 150+ 🪴 😅 I have so many still on my wishlist but i don’t have more space🙈 Love from German Alps 💚

I second that. ) has much softer hairs than the Jacklyn's. and the leaves are soft and bendy. Anthoro is more challenging in my experience - more senstive to underwatering. Mine is just a stump atm 😅i'm in process of preparing it for transfer to semi-hydro as I can't keep u with it.

I have two of the alocasia’s you’re lusting after. Warning the Antoro velvet and the Infernalis are both challenging. Prepare to keep them in your cabinet. The Begonia burkillii as well is a terrarium begonia. Needs high humidity. The beauties are never easy.

ooh thanks for the tips!!

Just a warning on the Alocasia Antoro velvet. Spider mite magnets and they don’t acclimate well. Mine immediately died back to the stump and so did the one at the rare plant nursery I got it from so not just me. Mine has bounced back and has tons of leaves but much smaller. Good luck.

I love to get into begonia’s they are pretty the rare ones. But some do need more humidity. I am not into the common cane begonia ones. Maybe i will if i get a small glass mini greenhouse that i can put on a table. The Hoya Latifolia is similar to the Hoya Sarawak. Which i like the Sarawak more. I like to require more rare Sansevieria’s this year low maintenance plants. The only Hoya i want to have on my top list is the Wilbur Graves, Mathilde Variegated, Obovata Splash, Hypolasia after seeing it on Wildfern’s Channel the veining on the leaves looks so amazing and narrow leaves too. Also Hoya Argentea Princess after seeing it on Ana with Plants she has amazing Hoya’s.
@GoodGrowing7 сағат бұрын
ooh that's a great wishlist!! I hope you're able to get some this year 🤞

The scindapsus tricolor is a really slow/poor grower for me. Haven't had issues with any other scindapsus. mostly grow them in semi hydro.... But the tricolor is so annoying. I looked online for a healthy looking mature version someone had grown and couldn't find one. I think there's a reason 😂
