Collection has no clash with minimalism concept as they're poles apart ideas.... Collection is what you gather throughout Life whereas Minimalism is the way you use them in your day to day Life. You have a nice collection but sometimes things look clumsy....too much. My mother in law never heard the word minimalist all her Life but was an ardent follower of minimalism... She had a huge collection which she utilised very thoughtfully. Things appeared not more not less ... Just perfect.

Agree. My nani/nana home , my dadi home, my eldest kaka home in coastal Karnataka are examples of minimalism. Just bare minimum in their homes.
