Of the 3 most rarest i have only found the normal diamond

I think it’s a common misconception that emeralds can’t spawn in deep dark. I have a 1.20 world where I live on a snowy mountain with an ancient city below, and I have managed to find deep slate emerald through strip mining methods.

nope, they can't. only mountain biomes generate emeralds. the emerald has to be just outside the the deep dark. you can check f3 to see if the emerald generated inside the deep dark but without modified generation, emeralds don't generate in deep dark, lush caves, dripstone caves and any non-mountain biome.

i have found so many of them and one in stony peaks deepslate coal is rarer than normal diamond i found one while looking for diamonds too
