How evil and despicable can a family be! This is the perfect example here of a complete toxic narcissistic family, that thinks they can use money and power to get what they want. I'm glad that Emily had a strong friend in Anna and was able to get away from this. It's very scary to know that there are people out there like this, and I am praying for Emily that she never, ever has to see these toxic, evil people ever again.

What the heck is he thinking! Is he thinking that babies were easy to be made, think about the mother who spent 9 months taking good care of the baby, is better if he was the one who pregnant and later gave it away as it was a mere thing. Really is frustating toward a heartless and selfless husband. He has a family to protect for goodness sake, yet he choose his sister over his own. Even if the sister obtain her brother's child, how do you explain his or hers origin, it will make the child think he unwanted and resulter in something worse.

This was absolutely ridiculous. What a crappy family to even think that her husband thought it would be OK to take their baby and give it to his infertile sister is insane. And with his mother saying oh she can have another baby that is so wrong there was no guarantee that she can definitely get pregnant again, there have been I am sure many women who have given birth and then they find out that they can’t have another child because something went wrong in the delivery. Period. Haven’t these families because there are others stories that I’ve read the same way haven’t these families ever heard about adoption. You can’t have a child adopt a child don’t try and take one from another family member that’s ridiculous. Emily was smart, getting away and getting a divorce. Her husband obviously didn’t love her or the baby he was expecting enough if he could actually be thinking about giving it to his sister.

I went back and listened to this story again. I agree with another poster, I don't see anywhere where Jack said he would give his baby to his sister. It is said letter they wouldn't have nothing without her agreement. I don't see how she was betrayed. It seems like it the woman seems to think a man's defense wasn't strong enough. But she's never willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, considering she claims to love him. Why didn't she give him a chance to prove himself?

Unless I missed something. It didn't sound like the husband actually agreed to give his sis the baby. But he should have said in definite terms no way. I guess when he spoke, it sounded like it wasn't totally off the table of possiblity. So that's what hurt her .

His sister’s situation was sad but the mother’s attempt to fix it at the expense of her daughter in law with a plan her son co-signed on is disgusting. Why was the sister so desperate for a child anyway was she married? I don’t think so she was living with her mom so the insanity level on this one is extreme. Seeing her sister in law pregnant should have made a person with healthy mental health happy not envious.

From what i hear, the woman overheard her MIL telling her husband to give the baby to his sister. Then the wife gets mad at him and blames him for what the MIL said. He tries to apologize, but snotty wife refuses to listen to his side. I think the wife only married him to get pregnant and get a hold of his money after all. I'm on the husband's side in this story; not the self-center wife!
