While watching Rose get her hair washed I nearly cried....I am the mother of a small child. I doubt I will ever have another child again due to how difficult pregnancy and post-partum were. So considerate.Took only what he needed left enough wormwood for Mei to use too. Once the leaves had been used they were returned to the earth. Rose is thriving and it's so good to hear how hungry she always is now in comparison to when she was finding it hard to eat during the pregnancy. Wu is always ready to make her something delicious to eat. Just have to admire Wu Jianyun's devotion to his wife and family.

This man has a good heart, it’s what he has longed for all his life, he is not Rose age as you can tell, he looks like he is in his early fifty’s she is in her early thirty’s, although the age difference they both have learnt from past relationships, a very good connection they have. 👏👏👏❤️❤️

He does have a handsome brother they call DaGe. His voice sounds like Mr Wu's voice. He helped with the building of the new house and he and Mei would cook for the workers. So many people asked about him, in December 2023 he started his own KZbin channel "Wu Memory Flavor Restuarant".

Even his older brother who they call DaGe (not actually his name I think, it just means eldest brother), helped with cooking through the end of Rose's pregnancy, while also helping build the house, while _also_ having another job in a restaurant. When they say it takes a village, these are the villages they were looking at. But fr, Wu Jianyun has been working extra hard, cooking special nourishing meals for Rose, finishing building their house, and taking care of Rose, Anzai, and Yue. Everyone is doing extra work, not just to take over Rose's things, but to take extra special care of her while she's working hard at healing from creating a life, and feeding that life from her own body. This is exactly how it should be. Even in America it used to be common for the grandmother/s of the baby to move in temporarily to help take care of them, up until the past couple generations. If there wasn't a family member available, a local nanny was very affordable, just a woman from the neighborhood who'd had a few kids and was willing to help out for a bit of extra grocery money. Then people started treating nannies like some separate servant class that only pretentious rich people who don't want to touch their own kids would ever hire. Babysitters are fine, little children who have no idea what to do in an emergency but nannies? What, are you too rich to raise you own kids? That attitude. Raising a family is so difficult, we were never meant to do it alone. We need people around us we can trust. We need community. Family. Good family. Even if that means chosen family, like Mei and Xiaomei, as close as sisters, from a whole other continent.
