I live in South Carolina in the US of A While parking in a handicap spot without proper identification is a federal offense, each state is responsible for setting its own fine for the misdemeanor. South Carolina's fine can range from $500-$1,000 per violation. So, while $500 may seem like a lot, it is the minimum fine for this type of violation in the state. I truly enjoyed this video. Stopping these violaters are as important, if not more, than stopping people from driving and parking on sidewalks, in my humble opinion. I would like to see MORE videos like this one. Keep up the great work!

Large fines alone does not work. If someone caught once out of 10000 times, it lowers the expected fine (multiply the large fine with the likely-hood of getting caught). For example of the 360 EUR fine with the 1 of 10000 likely-hood, the expected fine is 3.6 cents. Without enforcement, large fines are just empty threat.

@@MrVilcins11 Yes of course, I can. But it's for psychological reasons and I think it's unfair to those that could really need the benefits (wider markings, easy access etc.). If I have an anxiety attack in a store or restaurant it doesn't matter where my car is parked. And certainly if I'm fine with parking further away for the benefit of physically disabled people, I don't think it's debatable for others that want to use benefits given to me as a person, not to them :) (friends and family in that situation I mean)

The same people who think it's fine to park in the handicap spots when they're mostly open will still park there when it's the last few spots available. You can say the guys are being hard on the drivers and it wouldn't matter for any disabled this time, but that's the thing. This time it "doesn't really matter", and what about the next time

Thank you so much for all your work. Helping every last member of society is the power we need to make our world a better place to live in. Please show us the sticker next time! What a good side step to the usual ignorance. Sad to see yet more people without regard for others less fortunate. Great work👌 And may you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR🎊🎉🎆

Yeah, it seems that the DB's that drive on the pavement to get to the "magazina" has no problem parking in a disabled spot in front of that "magazina".. Atleast they are consistant....Consistantly DB's

I wonder why we often feel the need to rebel and become stubborn when our mistakes are pointed out. I guess that's the difference between humility and arrogance
