My Husband Doesn't Pray - Shaykh Al Fawzan

Narrated Abu Huraira: My friend (the Prophet (ﷺ) ) advised me to observe three things: (1) to fast three days a month; (2) to pray two rak`at of Duha prayer (forenoon prayer); and (3) to pray witr before sleeping. Sahih al-Bukhari 1981.

Do dua, Allah is the one who can change anybody’s heart. Make dua at the time of Tahajjud, may Allah AWJ help you sister.

And guiding somebody with the kindest of heart is a Sunnah of our beloved habibi صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ Yes the shaykh might be right or wrong but imagine if you were in your husband’s shoes, how would you like to be treated? And from a sister to sister, us women are blessed by Allah AWJ with healing calming energy and no wonder Prophet صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ used to take one of his wives along on most of his expeditions. So know that a woman is a man’s partner who can help him reach his ultimate potential. And share with him your love for Jannah and tell then make him excited about and want to go to Jannah and what’s the first compulsory question on the question paper of Jannah? It is Salah. Slow and steady. And remember if you don’t like one thing about him you might find something else that you may love about him. And ask Allah to put Allah AWJ’s love and taqwa in his heart so he wants to pray not just do it cuz its a task. You get me?
